Well we now know Han Solo does not die in EP 7

Realistically it was only going to be a cliffhanger situation - as in not whether he'll survive, but how he managed to survive.

However, there's no mention of a starring role for
Adam Driver

It won't be-nothing , I mean nothing can be as bad as that film

Well, apart from The Phantom Menace, that is. :horror

Though I can't imagine JJ Abrams overseeing anything as bad as those films. He dislikes them, so is well aware of their problems!

I always thought The Phantom Menace was a bit closer to the OT than episode 2 and 3. Phantom had some real environments, more practical effects, and a cool fight scene at the end. I can't say that about Episode 2 and 3 :lol

TPM would be a decent Star Wars film if not for the fact that child is supposed to be Darth Vader.

It's still my favorite of the prequels, it has more practical effects and less lovey dovey rubbish than the other two. I'd actually say it is a decent movie. It would be a great movie if it had no Jar Jar, wooden Lucas esq lines or slap stick nonsense.

The new trilogy is definitely more PC. It hadn't even occurred to me that Captain Phasma was a woman until it was explicitly stated, I mean whoever's in the suit should have no bearing unless the mask comes off (take Greedo, for example).

Damn,
I was hoping he would end up being the new Darth Vader, not the new Darth Maul. The one and one villains are such a waste.

I guess we will see for sure come this December.

Said it in another thread.....

Would not be surprised if all that is just false information to throw off people. I mean, come on, Disney is not that stupid and as secretive they have been trying to keep everything... I bet that is just false.

Agreed, easily the best of prequels. Last 40 minutes is just awesome. 👍 It feels like Star Wars too unlike Ep2 and 3.

I'm currently showing my daughter the phantom menace, as she suddenly can't get enough star wars. It's a labor, I won't lie. The acting is so atrocious I don't understand how anybody could complain about the acting in the original trilogy. And then there's Jar Jar, and the less said about that the better.

All in all, my 6 year old is enjoying it.

Here is a question what is the possibility of them bringing back Vader in on of these movies set between episode 4 and 5 basicly have been reading the current marvel Vader series and star comic and dam there is a good story right there . Their portal of Vader is ruthless and I love it . They can still have the same actor voice him and hire some one to fill the role since we never need to see his face.
