I think I was adding a little blurb at the end of my last post while you were still responding but eh, no big.

I too love LOTR and feel that with regard to quality it's the strongest trilogy of all time (since ROTJ brings the OT down a bit.) A local movie theater shows the entire trilogy every December and in another year or two both of my kids will finally be old enough to fully enjoy them. What a treat that they'll be able to see them for the first time on the big screen as I did.

Quick edit, It was my sons 1st time watching them. I've seen them all in the theater. I too was waiting till he was old enough. He just turned 12. He loved them too. It was a fun time. I got to rewatch all 3 LOTR extended cut editions on bluray after upgrading from the DVD's when the set was 1st released way back when. And I waited to watch The Hobbit extended editions for the 1st time with my son after he was old enough.

And now I know that Adolfo has never seen Valerian, lol.

(Man that movie was awful)

It was original and didn't involve shoehorning Kennedy crap...more beautifully shot scenes it had compared to TLJ...story could have been been better...but TLJ was to me like the Valentine's day massacre to every theater worldwide lol....all that was good and held sacred to Star Wars was put up against the wall and shot...hoping episode 9 title is called" The Squeals of the Porgs "

Khevinito and jyenito should actually be happy and proud that people cared so much to post in here. That this thread gets so much traffic and posts.

Honestly, you really have to step back and admire Khev's efforts in this (and other) threads over the past month or so. He is often the only voice passionately defending TLJ, often dutifully replying to each and every one of dozens of anti-TLJ posts per day - often at great length and in great detail.

Obviously I thought TLJ was a bizarrely misguided cheese-fest (with lactating teets!) that squandered almost everything TFA set-up, while taking time out to mock and retcon the OT - though I can't say I "hated" it.

I honestly have been blown away by what Khev does day after day in here though, but in terms of the tireless effort and the patience to start all over, and the careful molding, handling and pushing of something that many here consider to be ****, the two things that come to mind that symbolize what he's been doing and will continue doing here: Sisyphus and the dung beetle.

Decades from now when we are all really old and just contemplating our lives, when star wars episode 30 " the revenge of fynn's son" is in theaters

Khev can rest easy knowing that decades before he defended the honor of episode 8, daily for 2 months straight in a forum that was created for talking about dollies :lol :lol :duff

"Whenever there is injustice, you will find us..wherever there is suffering, we'll be there, wherever liberty is threatened, you will find Riddick, Worgar, and Difabio! The three Amigos!"

I have a serious, honest question,

What was the point of these things? What was their plan? What were they even going to do when they got close to the 10+ AT-AT's
To just crash against the bad guys?

What were they planning, and how come the bad guys didnt just shoot them down?
