Re: Star Wars Episode VIII (Dec 15th, 2017)

Did anyone even want an Avatar 2?

I didn't.

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII (Dec 15th, 2017)

Funny how people forget the fact that Avatar was in pre-production for over a decade. How people, including Fox, thought it was never going to come out and when/if it did, they assumed it would be a flop (just like what was said about Titanic).

There is a method to all this, Cameron has never been the underdog. Hell, for something nobody supposedly cares about, Avatar sure does make headlines and get people talking.

Titanic also had major delays and industry people were predicting a financial disaster.

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII (Dec 15th, 2017)

When I heard that Cameron was making an action comedy with Arnold so soon after Last Action Hero I laughed because I knew it would bomb. When Cameron made a $200 million movie on the water like Waterworld I laughed because I knew it would bomb. 3D made my eyes hurt so I knew if he ever made a movie like that it would bomb. So I think I can say with confidence that Avatar 2 will bomb.

You all shall pay to see A2...it is inevitable...it is futile to resist...only jail time, illness or death shall thy souls be kept away from Avatar sequels....be warned...hehehehehehe

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII (Dec 15th, 2017)

I will probably see it, first one was ok, if not a ripoff of everything in existence but it was ok, plus the spectacle and Quaritch or whatever was worth the ticket.

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII (Dec 15th, 2017)

It won't just be a sequel, it'll be a James Cameron sequel, and his track record with sequels is pretty good so far. Not to mention, he'll develop some "new" more advance technology or something to get people interested in Avatar 2, just like he did with the first Avatar. It's going to be a big deal when it does come out, and even the hater will go see it at least once, while Cameron laughs at them.

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII (Dec 15th, 2017)

Yeah, I'd hold up hope for a sequel of his.

Weren't there rumors that Quaritch could come back?

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII (Dec 15th, 2017)

His sequels always have kids as one of the main characters. Plus the alternate ending in the Avatar SE special features showed Jake with a pregnant Neytiri. So a little Jake Jr or Newt Neytiri is pretty much a given.

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII (Dec 15th, 2017)

thats going to be really freaky

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII (Dec 15th, 2017)

There are no Avatar sequels. Cameron is using studio money to make a weather control device. It'll all come out when he dies suddenly due to a sexbot malfunction.

Star Wars Episode VIII filmed in Dubrovnik!

Hey people, just heard the great news - new episode VIII of Star Wars will be filmed in my country's most astonishing location - medieval town of Dubrovnik in Croatia, the pearl of the Mediterranean:

You may also know it as a location of King's Landing from Game of Thrones.
Now to further the recognition of this amazing historical, cultural and nature site, Star Wars set is moving in!

Here is some more information about Dubrovnik:

Excuse my excitement, but for me this is HUGE since I am a raging Star Wars fan... and to think that my country will host the beautiful sets of Star Wars - just amazing! And I am sure we will benefit from this news the same as Tunis benefited from being Tatooine.

Feel free to ask me any questions about my country Croatia and town of Dubrovnik. And you are all very welcome to come here on vacation, you will be blown away!

Re: Star Wars Episode VIII filmed in Dubrovnik!

Upon further research, it is rumored that Dubrovnik may become planet Ahch-To, the hideout of Luke Skywalker.
