That's true. But not a fair comparison. Aliens built a franchise. Superhero movies are repeating treaded ground of 50 years or more.

I still watch ALIEN from time to time, it's a great flick. but I barely remember ALIENS as a kid. It never stuck with me.

Don't even think I got around to Alien 3. Prometheus was okay I guess.

Don't get me wrong, Aliens and T2 still rank high on my top 100 movies... but not as high as they were 10 years ago, or 10 years before that.

A L I E N and Terminator on the other hand would be in my Top 20.
