If Lucas makes a baby with his wife will they have a gray baby?

Damn, Lucas is a cuck.

No really. In the 80s Marcia Lucas cheated on him with a painter from Skywalker Ranch because Georgie wasn't showing her enough attention. I wonder if the Maker was impotent. I wonder if his Lightsaber's kyber Crystal was functioning. I wonder if his X-Wing proton torpedoes malfuctioned. I wonder if his R5 unit had a bad motivator.

I'm sure George Luca's genitals are intact and in mint condition.

I will take "gray" as being a force user who uses both dark and light side,

But that's all the Jedi ever were. Users of both Light and Dark while maintaining a healthy "balance" so as not to be consumed. Ever wonder why Anakin tells Padme that Obi-Wan would be "very grumpy" if he saw him levitating a pear? It's because according to the story meetings for ESB manipulation of physical objects (telekinesis) requires the Dark Side. So Anakin was literally goofing off with the Dark Side of the Force because he thought it was fun and he wanted to impress a girl. That's using the Force to do things quick and easy which is a big no no.

You're only supposed to use the Dark Side as a last resort; ie when fighting is required or you need to lift something too big for your human muscles. Once you start using the Force as your default mechanism for getting things done it begins to take you over. It should always be a big decision to use the Force, which is why Yoda told Luke that the best state of mind to be in is when he's calm and passive. Then the Force can be used in measured doses without the wielder being consumed. That of course was the entire point of Luke's big victory at the end of ROTJ. He kept his emotional wherewithal at the end and was able to "turn off" his aggression before the Force took control of him.

My point is that there has always, always, always been the struggle for all Jedi to maintain balance between the light and "just enough" Dark. There's no need to call such a Force user "Gray." They already have a name: Jedi. Throwing in the gray stuff just makes them redundantly complicated and indicates a lack of understanding of how George portrayed the Jedi all along.

Oh I agree completely, but the Disney story group seem intent on making it into something else as a plot contrivance. Beings that can draw from both are more powerful yada yada..

Yeah, and if they really go down that road I'm not saying that it'll be a deal breaker. Just a bit lame and a hurdle that they'll need to overcome (and that they CAN overcome but only if the execution is off the charts.) I'd love to reinstate the TFA trilogy into my own personal "canon" but...we'll see.

And wasn't a rogue, rebel Jedi like Qui-Gon Jinn (whom the council despised and wouldn't allow a seat), technically a "gray" Jedi as well? Hell, I'd even consider Luke Skywalker by ROTJ a "gray" Jedi that blurs the line between light and dark. He didn't follow Yoda and Obi-Wan's teachings, he didn't kill his father, he didn't join the emperor.

What could they possibly do with Rey or Kylo Ren that's any different from what we've already seen besides just blatantly calling their actions "GRAAAY"?
