I love TFA. All the leaks and pictures from day 1 looked like Star Wars.

It looks like there's a chase through this street and that silver/blue speeder is just parked and gets knocked out of the way.

These new photos remind me of the prequels and make me want to vomit.

Johnson, like Lucas, will take the saga in new and interesting directions. He may do a better job than Lucas. But if you're hoping for more fan service like TFA you'll probably be disappointed.

Like JJ said, they "had to go back so they could go forward".

It certainly is an exciting time to be a SW fan. While I do think the design of what we have seen wouldn't have gotten the George Lucas stamp.
I'm cool with an exciting new movie to look forward to. And as long as they keep referencing McQuarrie as they are then I think we will be ok.
Latest rumours suggest that Snoke hangs out in a huge Dracula like castle very much like the early McQuarrie emperor designs.
