Two or five years ago Disney changed the pirates chasing the girls (running in circles around balconies you may recall) on the Pirates ride to men chasing girls who are holding food plates -- so they're chasing the girls for food presumably instead of other nefarious sexual reasons.

One day they'll get rid of that pirate laying drunk with the pig in the mud because it suggests potential bestiality.

Yes, that's exactly the reason. I remember the complaints well.

This "SJW" thing has been going on since the 70's, only back them only certain groups cried out loud enough to affect change. Now, with the internet, even tiny groups can whine and affect corporate decisions.

You hit the nail on the head.....the complaints were to be heard then , as they are now. It not like Disney has the corner on changing hero's to better match the culture or demographics they are shooting for.....how can you fault them for that? If you do the you had better be all over George for the same thing.

Either way the argument that Disney is somehow single handedly pushed an agenda into SW is ludicrous . Disney's agenda is making money and films that will appeal to the greatest audience. They are not trying to brainwash anyone.
