Hamill got in shape.

It's the awful Jedi costume design with those old man high belts that makes their torso look square like a box. It's not very flattering

Those belts are too high and they draw all your attention to their midsection.

Lego has him as a standard figure size, not on the kid legs like Maz and Yoda. So I'd say based on that he is average to tall even.

I think a lot of people really do think he'll be huge or tiny. So far Lego has been our only hint at his true size

I don't think he'll be huge because that would severely limit his toy-ability in certain scales. We know how much they love to make toys
