What did you expect? The world shuts down for a week to celebrate?

Force Friday is one week away -- that's likely the extent of it, besides a lot of 40th Anni stickers on things.

This whole half of this year has just been ****** branding of remakes of old toys with the 40th anniversary, i know force Friday will be huge this year because of episode VIII, but even as far as the 40th merch, its not been really there, I've been satisfying my urges with transformers reissues @ toys rus to keep me busy, but i am just hyped up to get the last jedi funco t-shirts at TRU to say the least, and hope to see micromachines in some form or another

Commercials everywhere , underware, fast food, vacations, makeup, food and drinks, clothing, posters , figures, dinner ware, etc etc

Waiting on SW feminine hygiene products and cigarettes....

Because Luke never leaves. He remains there like a Yoda. No saber fight. No showdown with Kylo. Only battle is smattering of flashbacks without continuity because old Hamill cannot fight any better than Old Guinness.

Only when Snoke tracks Rey to the island and his men kidnap Luke does he leave.... but that is the end of the movie, the ESB cliff-hanger where the heroes will have to rescue Luke from Snoke in Episode 9.
