Dude. That is epic. I don't even mind if you guessed one of the biggest twists of the new movies. That's the thing with not releasing tons of trailers that give everything away. We get to just theorize and connect the most limited of dots together. And we still won't know for certain until we actually watch the movie.

I just ran down to Target and I smile every time I'm greeted by those life-size stickers of Rey and that confused Porg that are stuck to the glass doors as you walk in. I can't help but think of Porgy's.

The fever is starting to set in. I couldn't care less about JL and Thor 3 right now.

I just can't get excited about this villain. Vader. Fett. Jabba. Maul. Grievous. All interesting designs where the artwork development is amazing.

But Snoke looks like one of the designs passed on when creating the Emperor in 1979. And I think that's likely where they got him from. Once again, going to what's been done before. He's like a rotten, broken Tarkin/Emperor hybrid.

But with fabulous gold robes.



And honestly, I'm so tired of Serkis' Gollum variants.

If Snoke isn't to your liking then there will still be the Porg who pilots the Falcon, Rose, Evil Maz, Build-A-Bear Luke, etc.

Another scene I expect to see:

Finn: Porg, go gets the keys.
Porg comes back with a slice of cheese.

Porg comes back with Yondu's fin.
Finn: No, I'm Finn, get me the keys.
Porgs raises a leg and pees.
Finn: I SAID KEYS!!!!

If you insist on making a Star Wars prequel, lots of things are going to be connected. By virtue of the original films, Obi-Wan had to mentor Anakin Skywalker, Yoda had to show up to warn everybody about this dip****, etc. But George Lucas just kept connecting the dots. R2-D2 and C-3PO couldn't be random bystanders drawn into a conflict -- Artoo had to be there from the beginning, and Threepio had to be built by Baby Vader. And let's not even talk about Boba Fett.

Of all the lessons Hollywood could have taken from the Star Wars prequels -- chief of them being "don't do this" -- the one that stuck appears to be that everything must be connected somehow, even if it doesn't make sense.

Hit the nail right on the head buddy. The lack of imagination for this new Star Wars is jarring. Could care less about this snoke person , he looks generic and stupid. Like a testicle with a face. I'm not hating but I wish they'd offer us something new but as of right now this looks to be the ot 2.0 with less interesting characters. I hope I'm proven wrong. I want to be proven wrong. I love Star Wars. But it looks like the anthology movies will be better as they kinda cover new ground.
