Zam Wessel is pretty cowardly. Sub-contractor who uses worms. Spends her whole part running away.

Man the prequel villains sucked.

Jango pays a bounty hunter who pays a droid who pays some worms to do one job.

And he was constantly trying to get away from Yoda just like the cowardly Dooku.

And I never believed that in ROTJ Palpatine even *had* a lightsaber. That was a "Jedi's weapon" that he regarded with contempt. He literally was sitting defenseless and yet was still entertained at the mere thought of Luke trying to kill him which easily could have happened.

Would've it been too hard to just have kept the RG looking the same as from the OT especially since they looked the same in the PT which was set just as many years before the OT.

I don't know just say their outfit remains unchanged for traditional reasons.

Whatever i'm ok with the new design it's not like I hate it or anything BUT i'm starting to think Disney went back to their Black Hole movie for design inspirations which would be ironic since Black Hole was Disney's answer to SW.

Black Hole remain a guilty pleasure of mine...

1st it has a real Dark ending and one that inspired the Sci Fi horror film Event Horizon

2nd some of the Designs in the film are great. USS Cygnus, the Black Hole itself and Maximillion.

3rd A pretty strong cast.

4th The John Barry score is pretty freaking Great... Especially the Black Hole theme.


Its main issue is that it is too goofy to be so dark. But I can still watch it at any given time.

While he probably did that for effect, contrary to popular belief Mace was whupping his a** for real (George confirmed it).

That's why Anakin's intervention was so critical.

For the first time ever, I disagree with JAWS on every level and with every point.

Event Horizon, another winner.

Designs sucked. The black hole itself? Seriously? You like spinning water?

Strong cast? For a bad TV movie perhaps.

I had the score, I listened to the score, I never liked the score. By then, Barry's music had slowed to a crawl and lost any sense of urgency (i.e. Moonraker and every Bond thereafter). Everything he did sounded like Out of Africa -- travelogue music.

you are sooo right- a guilty pleasure with lots of great elements..cast was superb but script was very lame

OK In no way am I going to try and convince you to like this film... I am just gooing to justify why I still have a place for it in my heart

Like I said it is a guilty pleasure. A film I loved as a kid (3rd grade) Personally I think Event Horizon holds up well and it is getting much more love now then it did with it's first release... Not a perfect film but it had some good moments and I still like revisit it.. Great design work in that one also. As well as a good cast The fact that it does rip off The Black Hole though just goes to show that director Paul W.S. Anderson has never had an original thought.

The Fact that a Disney movie was willing to take us into HELL is a pretty ballsy move on their part... It is what keeps it from being a total kids film... For better or worse.

Come on this is just beautiful!!! I love the space backdrop also... Ridiculous amount of Stars.


I get what you are saying about the black hole itself and Water drains.... But for its time its a pretty cool effect.

Few other images that have always stuck with me...

Yeah you can always pick out a John Barry score... But I thought this one was good a creepy as well as having some good fun hero moments

Love The Black Hole. Well I like just about any 70's sci-fi flicks mainly for the design, but TBH is still a fun dark flick, nice imagery and cast. And would like HT or someone to make a high end humanoid.
