When hot toys first started they gave joker socks but they weren't the right color so people whined and bitched about it. It's weird cause the first joker figure they made was horrid. I don't know why everyone got so worked up.

So I had a dream last night that I saw this. The opening crawl was talking about how it's a good thing Phil Lord and Chris Miller were fired from Han Solo. Then it started with Rey arriving to the island, walking up to Luke, and Luke holding a porg that was wearing a wig resembling Kathleen Kennedy. I then promptly got up and left the theater.

It's possible at this point maybe we won't, maybe they're trying to guard the story so much that a traditional trailer wouldn't work and a teaser is all they can manage.

I'm sure there will be a proper one in October.

I see this as 3 things going on.

1. Saving money, the post PT SW brand sells itself now after the success of TFA/RO so why spend money when everyone and their grandmother are going to see this anyways.
2. Like MF just said they're keeping the plot a secret.
3. RO time frame altered the TFA trailer release schedule.

That's hilarious. They need to gain hype for this. Not everybody is going to rush into the theater like the last one. These characters aren't to well liked for people to just see it from one trailer. Yea it has luke in it but rey and the others are dull. If they think that little teaser is the only thing that will garner hype they are sadly mistaken.
