I'm sure there will be a proper one in October.

I see this as 3 things going on.

1. Saving money, the post PT SW brand sells itself now after the success of TFA/RO so why spend money when everyone and their grandmother are going to see this anyways.
2. Like MF just said they're keeping the plot a secret.
3. RO time frame altered the TFA trailer release schedule.

I don't know. I honestly think the reason people saw TFA was that it was a a huge event movie. They aren't really treating this as an event movie. TFA was everywhere from august to DEC
