One thing I'm not liking visually in the new trilogy is that we're getting a mix of styles with the cinematography and in a way, for me, it makes the movies feel less connected, JJ's style vs Johnson's style, and now we'll end with JJ's again, it'll especially feel out of place with Johnson going different from JJ. Some of the training shots of Rey we've seen, there's a quality to the picture that looks cool but is also unlike any cinematography we've ever had in Star Wars. I was upset when Lucas decided out of nowhere to insert some shots in ROTS that were unlike any visual in the other 5 films instead of keeping an established consistency.

Hmm for me a non issue lol

I do love the speculation going on with this new trilogy.

My speculation during the PT consisted of “should I admit i’m following these movies or not”.

My PT speculation was more of, "in what order will these events happen and what is going in on that shot", where I have speculation and curiosities about the new movies without trailers.

Well if you look at the original trilogy they all had a different visual style as well. A New Hope looks visually different than Empire, and Jedi looks like it's own thing. I guess it's because of the years they were released and the advancement of film in general.

You just aren't mature enough yet to fully experience The Last JEDI.

I soooo want to see the Falcon blown up.

Don’t you mean 2046, SW is for kids dude that adults enjoy watching because the real world sucks except when it was the PT then both the real world and fantasy worked sucked lol

It was cool the first 20 times they blew up the USS Starship Enterprise. Actually, if it blows up with Chewy, R2, and the gremlin inside, then I'll give the filmmakers two thumbs up.

As for maturity, I never claimed to be more mature than Star Wars fans.

Ok fine ROTS had that great opera scene are you happy now lol

And i’ll take fake news over a nuclear war any day of the week except on sundays. Sunday is my gamma radiation craving day.

Star Wars is that sweet spot that never goes fully bad. The prequels were bad but I've seen a lot worse.

That's the sixty four thousand-dollar question. Will he still wanna go through with his promise to Ren? I think after a few days of alone time with her the answer is no. Why condemn the galaxy to darkness when the one thing that brings you light is around again? Unfortunately, I fear someone else will finish the deed. Someone that's currently in the shadows as a backup, in case Rey's immortal beloved doesn't fulfill his end of the bargain.

I think Episode IX will be all about that. About Rey
turning Snoke back to the Light and in doing so giving the good guys a fighting chance against this Ren entity. In fact, I have a theory about why Luke will survive TLJ.

At the end of IX, when the heroes are seemingly helpness in the face of The Ancient Fear unleashed, its ironically the very gift that Ren granted Snoke which will save the day. It hit me when the rumor broke that Snoke feeds off Force-users like a vampire and that because there are such few Force-sensitives around at this point he hasn't been able to fully heal himself.

So I think it'll play out like this: Inside some creepy Sith temple, the heroes will witness Ren crawl out of some black hole. He'll then fatally wound Snokula for betraying him. Snoke will lay in some corner dying in Rey's arms while Luke and Kylo stare at each other, completely helpless and hopeless. The galaxy is doomed because nobody in the room has the power to face something so powerful. Snoke will say "I wish I had the power to save you, my love." Then Luke will walk over to Snoke and say "Here it is. Take it. Take it all. Rey and Kylo know exactly what that means. They both cry. Rey pleads with Luke that there must be some other way. He hugs her goodbye. Kylo honors Luke by shaking his hand and nodding his head (Sarah Connor T2 style). Luke then looks down at Snoke and puts out his good arm. Snoke grabs it and then a massive beam of Light encases the two. Snoke's wounds heal but something else happens. He becomes young again and is fully restored to his original form as he was when he and the Jedi crusaded against Ren, and when he met Rey. The two Force powerhouses fight. Snoke vanquishes Ren for good and then becomes one with The Force, after saying his goodbyes to Rey Ghost-style. Kylo and Rey have a "Holy Grail" child and the war between Light and Dark is finally over as the Whills willed it. The End.

Your story is extremely detailed but I'm afraid way too complicated for children, which is what Star Wars is for after all. Disney wants legions of children to grow up dedicated to Star Wars.

Plus, you are dismissing Kylo and giving Snoke his story. I believe Snoke will remain the Palpatine-villain... and it is Kylo who will fulfill his grandfather's destiny -- meaning bring balance to the force by saving Rey and killing Snoke in a Vader-esque sacrifice (which is not the destiny he's dreaming of, but it is the destiny he is destined for). I've said so from day one and I still believe this to be the basic repetitive storyline in keeping with Skywalker lore. I see nothing in the trailer to dismiss that theory. Of course we won't know until 2019 when this thing finally finishes.

Oh no you saw Leto in 2046, the wasted return of Deckard, that anticlimatic mystery reveal and the new narrative forced into the original BR so sorry to hear that chewblacca. Come here let me give you a hug.
