Snoke dresses like an Ancient Prince. All this bashing of his attire will end after TLJ comes out.

What amazing thing could he possibly do to make people sway to view him as a great villain? He seems like Palpatine only bald and wears gold. Could probably be his cousin? Will he be fighting with a lightsaber with his mind? Will he pull ships from the sky? If not then he will remain a shriveled ball sack man with a robe.

How great to be able to use an action figure of YOUR OWN CHARACTER in preproduction like that. After they had to use Steve Austin for the first.

Didn't they also use a commercially available model kit of the Falcon in actual shots for Empire and/or Jedi?

Not sure about the Falcon but I recall reading that they used the wings from the Revell Darth Vader TIE fighter Kits for the wings of some of the TIE Bomber models in ESB

he is borrowing a body is true. The body you see has outlived its usefulness and is degrading....

He is masquerading as a guy in a gold robe....when in reality he is someone else.

I think the devil (Ren) promised him he'd see her again one day. The particulars weren't discussed and thousands of years later Snoke forgot why he sold his soul in the first place. Think Vader after ten thousand years and not just 20. When he sees Rey, he realizes the deal was solid, just complex. Snoke's turn and eventual role in the galactic war are all part of the plan. They all contribute to the cycle of the final Chosen One starting up again. Basically, he had to turn and learn the power of immortality from Ren so when the time comes to fight Ren, he's powerful enough from thousands of years of learning to wield the Dark Side to actually face this "Ancient Fear". Not to mention, when Ren arrives in IX, he'll have the ultimate battery to power him via Luke.
