It's not realistic to expect 2B again, but I think people and Disney were expecting and hoping for about 1.7 or 1.8B.

The First Avengers made 1.5 and then AOU made 1.4B, so it made less but still close to the previous film. If TLJ makes 1.4 that's a lot less than 2B, and probably a lot less that Disney wanted, but not surprising for the SW franchise because AOTC had a big dip compared to TPM and even ESB made less than ANH, but the dip wasn't as drastic.

Right now I'm trying to find a way to download the TLJ dictionary and concept art books so that I don't give them more money related to this movie.

I got the visual dictionary and cutaway books and waited until I saw the movie to look at them, after I wasn't interested anymore and haven't open them yet. At least I got them on discount and I'm glad I didn't pick up the art of book.

Funny, but unlikely. It's about to go over $800 Million, and it still hasn't opened in China. TFA made over $120M in China, so it's a good bet that TLJ will approach $100M there. It's going to blow past $1B...

I did the mistake of purchasing the books for TFA. Literally spent 15 minutes looking at each one and sent them back for a refund
This time I'm not even going through the trouble, but they are really hard to find online (still managed to get screenshots via Google and YouTube though).
