It's seems all these "big" Star Wars fans are confused. I guess they forgot that the same damn thing happened in AOTC when Jango fires a seismic charge at Obi-Wan in the asteroid field. Copycat same ****. And Rian Johnson says he though it would be cool. What kind of fan is he?

When a girl sees a hot girl they go "i wish she died"

Man this is so accurate
Maybe we tear TLJ apart like animals (whereas most girls seem to love the movie), but at least we are kinda nice to each other

Damn dude, reading those comments from women is brutal. Girls are far harder on other women than men are IMO. Guys typically focus on what they find attractive, but we don't spend a lot of brain power tearing apart women we are not attracted to (we sorta just move on).

Nah. It's the side effect of years of media pounding into female heads - all the way back to the 1800s - all the cr*p companies were selling - smell good, fix your lips, fix your hair, your skin, your butt, blah blah. Details and more details.

I know there are folks who will say, "nothing could have saved this blah, blah, blah..." but other than a few things I really disagreed with, I liked the movie. Yeah, but that's just ONE thing that at least in my area gets ads after 10 PM. And like, when you leave the grocery there's maybe one men's magazine and 10 targeting women to lose 10 lbs in a week and make casseroles out of dog kibble.

Just sayin' things be-a-changing slowly - and maybe all that means is guys will get terrorized by the media for not having a six-pack - but *economically speaking* companies HAVE managed to lard ~50% of the population up with neurosis about having the cleanest wash, at least in the U.S. So you get ~50% of the population trained from a young age to look at details. Like, there's probably a lot of parents who spent a lot of time fussing over their daughters' hair for the annual holiday photo. Yeah, 'coz it's longer hair, maybe, but they're already learning details, details.
