They got to him.... the disney mafia finally silenced him

SSDXhSo.jpg

please tell me this isn't real and a photoshop joke. please. otherwise Disney just did to him in real life what they did to Luke in this disaster of a movie

Wow and that was retweeted by Stupendous Wave... The guy has the biggest theory-oriented Star Wars channel on YouTube.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that he loved and was defending the movie. It basically did everything a guy like him should hate (he is obsessed with Force lore, Sith lore, lightsabers, etc...).

Man that sucks for Hamill. Seriously.

We are now at the point where ticket sales are driven heavily by repeat viewings. The Christmas holiday week should help TLJ, if it doesn't have a big bounce in the next 5 days then I don't think it'll get >$1.5B, in fact many analysts had projected $1.7B-$.18B for this film.

While a billion dollars is a HUGE haul for any movie, this will be a disappointment for Disney if it lands in the $1.2 Billion range. nevertheless Interesting to track.

Yeah I see so many people commenting "I have seen it three times and going back for more" haha.

Meanwhile I'm scratching my head trying to remember a single scene worth rewatching that many times in the movie. Maybe the Snoke ones or Holdo's hyperspace suicide?

Just checking in.....

Yup , thread still salty and cheesy....

What ya make of this then?

If this turns out to be true... HO-LY ****.

Wouldn't be surprising of course, we all saw Hamill's face after the premiere, between shock and looking at Rian Johnson like he was going to murder him. It's the added details that are really interesting.

Even Hamill likes it. This movie is an epic success now. Solid success. You negative peeps are small and few in numbers.

Kennedy is no Feige.

Lucasfilm is run by Kathleen Kennedy, with minimal input from Disney proper. Marvel Studios is run by Kevin Feige, also with minimal input from Disney proper. Lucasfilm has been plagued by numerous ****ups in the last year and a half, from fired directors to scandals with actors and actresses to massive reshoots to huge budget overshoots. Thats even before the massive fan backlash to The Last Jedi. Meanwhile, Marvel Studios is an extremely well-oiled machine, and while they dont exactly put out great art, at the very least they seem to be able to turn out their movies on top and on budget, to fairly stable popular acclaim.

What went wrong? Or, on the flip side, what went right?
