I guess since the Jedi were stoopid in the PT it would make sense for the Republic to be the same as the First Order built a larger threat than even the Empire right under their stuck up noses.

Makes sense lol.

That moment when the parody film has a more creative weapon than TFA.

I picture it happening halfway through the movie.

Luke is brought before Snoke and Snoke tells the Royal Guards "Leave us now." Then he stands up and begins walking towards Luke.

SNOKE: "The last Jedi. It will be an honor to kill you."

LUKE: "You of all people should know death is not absolute, Supreme Leader. Or should I call you Darth Plagueis The Wise?"

I can see that.

Luke - "Or should I call you Darth Plagueis The Wise?"

Snoke - "Nu-uh!! I'm totally someone... else"

Luke - " I'm gonna tell on you."

Snoke - "Yeah, well...OMG look behind you!!"

Governments, stupid? Overlook a massive threat? Under your nose in space?

Too unbelievable for fantasy movie!

SW is a very very small world lol.

I get what you're saying it's a good point but it just seems hard to believe that the victorious Republic would allow the FO and Sith to be operating out in the open like that and then just ignore it by having only General Leia dealing with it as a small resistance group.

32 years yeah I know I know alot can happen in 32 years.

Oh well, don't make me bring up our current political climate.

You know what, on second thought you're right lol.

Is Snoke turns out to be Plagueis, will it ruin the movie for you?

Not at all. And you will be the first person I run to to say I was wrong.

SNOKE: "The last Jedi. It will be an honor to kill you."

LUKE: "You of all people should know death is not absolute, Supreme Leader. Or should I call you Darth Plagueis The Wise?"

Enjoy this fantasy while you still can.

Not at all.

I'd believe you if you hadn't written this:

Enjoy this fantasy while you still can.

That sounds absolutely anti-Plagueis. Like you have a genuine problem with the character being Snoke. Like the reveal would bother the **** outta you.

My question is why the beef with Plagueis? All we know is that he trained Palps and that he was capable of raising himself from the dead. He could easily be ancient.

Carrie Fisher will appear in Episode IX

The late Carrie Fisher will make an appearance from beyond the grave in the final "Star Wars" movie of the new trilogy, her brother Todd Fisher tells Confidential.

After months of speculation about Carrie's future in the sci-fi saga, Todd has revealed that Disney bosses want to bring Princess Leia back for Episode 9. And he said he and Carrie's daughter, Billie Lourd, have granted the studio rights to use recent footage for the finale. It is understood that CGI will not be used to recreate Leia.

“Both of us were like, ‘Yes, how do you take her out of it?’ And the answer is you don't,” said Fisher, as he attended the opening night gala of the TCM Film Festival in Los Angeles, celebrating “In the Heat of the Night.”

:lol I don't have a beef with Plagueis. I like the idea just fine in the PT, where it should stay. Gave Palpatine a nice backstory where he murdered his own mentor. Also, its possible Palps was lying about the entire 'cheat death' thing just to get his hooks into Anakin. He lied to everyone else -- why is the Plagueis thing believe to be true? Because you want it to.

Anyway, dead or alive, I prefer Plagueis be part of the past.... and not be some live-forever villain. How will we ever believe he is killed off in this trilogy if he can "cheat death". I can hear the fan-boys now: he's not dead. He'll be back. He can't die. He's all powerful. -- it's like Devil worship. Very bad.

How will Snoke/Plagueis ever be killed off in this trilogy if he can "cheat death".

My guess is he can't be technically "killed", but rather locked away.

My theory is that over a thousand years before the series, the Jedi fought and defeated an absurdly powerful Dark-Sider who was Snoke/Plagueis' master & The "Ren" figure the Knights worship. This entity could not be killed because it knew how to cheat death (this is how Snoke/Plagueis learns this) so the Jedi somehow imprisoned it in the netherworld's alternative to hell.

I think Snoke/Plagueis spent a thousand years under the radar before unleashing Palps on the Jedi and paving the way for this entity to be freed.

Wor-Gar has unleashed hell.

It doesn't really matter if Snoke is Plagueis, but he needs to have been involved in the rise of the Sith to have any real significance.

Also, if he's Plagueis and/or was involved in Anakin's conception, that makes for a powerful dynamic with Kylo: "I made your grandfather, and by extension you!"

I think Snoke/Plagueis ... paving the way for this entity to be freed.

I'm certain the villains have a plan to "unleash" something..... villains always plan to unleash something. So I'm with you there.

I hope they just don't arrest and lock up the Evil Entity/Super Villain. Like Loki. (that always screams studio-wants-a-sequel to me)

I hope Snoke is played by Gene Hackman and he takes his wig off at the end to reveal he's bald and proclaims: I'm Darth Plagueis! And I'm serving notice, that these walls...
