I’m with cerealkiller. Maybe rather than running away Luke was merely taking himself out of the equation in the hope it would short-circuit the vicious cycle.

The reactions are pretty spectacular.

This is where Disney screws up because when you create a RT score in the 90’s for TFA and Doctor Strange then when you do make a great movie people have a hard time believing the reviews.

Director of Logan loved it.

I’m serious he did.

One reaction after another movie is amaze balls very satisfying and definately better than TFA.

Well no duh of course it was going to be better than TFA.

Supposedly the “mother of all spoilers” worked very well and that none of the best moments are in the trailers!

So overall mission accomplished with less severe nitpicks than from TFA/RO AND more importantly does not rape ESB as bad as TFA did ANH, it had more unique moments to savor.

Damn i’m hyping myself up lol

I have miraculously avoided them hence my hype level being maxed out so please be gentle with me Wor lol

I did come up with my own big spoiler which has me excited to see if i’m right or not. It’s a wacky one so I doubt it.

So, everyone is ok with Yoda and Obi-Wan going into exile and letting the Emperor bend the Galaxy over for twenty plus years but Luke goes into exile after whatever happened with Snoke and Kylo and he isn’t given a pass for messing up? Maybe he went to that planet to find a way to fix what he screwed up? Did he get stranded?

so I was thinking about the comment where they said the meaning of the last Jedi changes throughout the film. Luke is obviously at the start, and Rey I guess could be seen as it after. But if Kylo is turning good as it's pretty much confirmed at this point wouldn't he count too? He's been trained and everything.

On a side note Hamill was making more comments a couple days ago saying they should have followed Lucas vision for the films and they're far different from what we're getting.

He also stated the obvious with some of the plot decisions and over saturation of Star Wars:

“We had no relationship in VII. It’s left up to the audience to decide if he knows who she is,” he says when asked whether we’ll see Luke and Rey get to know each other better this time around. They established earlier that I had a telepathic ability with my sister — would I know what’s going on now? Would I know I lost my best friend?”

That’s when he takes his shot: “That’s all left up to the audience, and that’s in the great tradition of the cliffhangers that inspired George in the first place. ‘Continued next week.’ Two years, in this case. But don’t worry, it’s only five months until the next one. [Rolls eyes] Great marketing there, Disney. [Laughter] What are they going to do, fire me?”

I just had to share a couple pics I took yesterday at the theater I manage. When I came in, my assistant had the box for “Space Bear” on my desk. I immediately ingested it into the theater I will be watching it in hopefully tomorrow evening or Tuesday at midnight. Disney send me the keys to unlock it now please!
