If you played this weekend you do NOT need to uninstall the #SWTOR client. We are planning to patch it to Early Game Access / Live.

I can't decide what to play as. I want to make just one character to concentrate on and level so I don't get bored playing the starter areas over and over. I really like Sith Inquisitor but I also really like the Jedi Consular. I'm also leaning towards Bounty Hunter, Trooper and Imperial Agent. Tough choices.

Well the good thing is that most of these classes don't share starting zones.
Here's the breakdown.

Ord Mantell: Smuggler, Trooper
Korriban: Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor
Tython: Jedi Knight, Jedi Consular
Hutta: Imperial Agent, Bounty Hunter

Yeah i played both a Sith Warrior and Sith Inquisitor and shot through most of the normal quest dialogue, and just focused on the different class storyline instead.

I managed to get Trooper, Knight, Inquisitor and IA all up to the fleet so that gave me a pretty good idea of the 4 archetypes.

The EU servers go live on the 20th as well now. I was pretty quick entering my code so hopefully i'll get to play on the 17th cos i got the digi download version.

I only played 3 days and I have withdrawals.....

MMO launches and beginnings are really the best part.

I like MMO launches because finding groups for quests that require multiple people are a lot easier.

I think I'm gonna go Bounty Hunter as my main. I prefer the ranged combat and heavy armor options. I'll make a lighsaber class after I get my Bounty Hunter settled and nicely leveled.

When peripherals cost more than the collectors edition of the game, then it's pretty damn ridiculous. I'll use my laptop's keyboard, my Razer Lachesis mouse, and my Turtle Beach headset rather than pay out of the ass for that stuff.

$50 for a mouse pad? WHAT?!?

Yeah, I wouldn't get the mousepad, but the other stuff is worth it. The keyboard has that touch screen on the side along with the programmable keys (with their own screens). Along with just being very high quality.

seems like a waste of money imo. i don't see the point of the touchscreen and 10 extra buttons on the right side of the keyboard when you have several keys on the left for macros or if you have a mouse that has 17 buttons it already lol.

i bought a Razer Naga when I was playing WoW so i'm set ont he mouse front.
My Logitech G15 keyboard will do nicely and for headset I have a Steelseries Siberia v2.
I'd love to get the Diablo headset but it's USB sadly.

Anyway back on topic.
I kinda wish they had separate start zones for all classes.
I just started a Smuggler and after doing a Trooper this WE the starting zone felt boring. Basically aside from the story quests everything is the same which obviously just a few days apart isn't too great.

So far not a huge fan of Smuggler, I like the Agent better.
Then again I haven't fallen in love with any of the Republic classes yet... I guess I'm just evil :vader

I was going to fork out the fund for the Razer TOR gear...till i saw the completely disgusting mark-up prices the UK stockists were putting on it..

I thought the current mark-up trend on Sideshow and Hot Toys were bad (in some cases taking the Dollar value of an item, swapping the $ for a £ and then adding another £20 to the price), but i'll be rotting in hell before i pay out £700 for a mouse, keyboard and mouse-mat with a "free" headset...

Actually, if they did that it would be cheaper than in the U.S. since the pound is worth more than the dollar
