It might change a lot--There was a poll a while back about the ages of Beta players, and most players were 30 and over, I think that will change a lot once the game comes out.

Nope, it's fine. Since this time when you play, it'll be for real and your character won't be deleted.
If Bounty Hunter is the one that gets the Jawa, then it's the only one. Each class gets its own companions. I only got to 2 companions though so I don't know if it even gets the Jawa.

Sadly i was out all night Sunday so i didnt get to see the final party on The Leviathen server 
As for player classes, I'm taking Smuggler first, had so much fun playing my test monkey that I want to do it all over again....

Really wish the Smuggler got the Jawa too..seems so fitting...

Email just went out about Beta closing--it says to uninstall, but if you have it updated since the November 25th then you shouldn't need to uninstall. For everyone else, when it comes online, you will need to redownload.

What's the level cap, and what are all of the playable races? Just all of the "Humanoids" in the inhabitant section of the Holonet?
If so.. I really wish they would have added more.. I swear I remember seeing screen caps of Togrutan and Chagrian players.
Oh, and there's a Rodian and Keldor Jedi in the first trailer..

Some of those are playable races, but it doesn't have all of them. The current level cap is 50.
I'm sure they'll add more races down the line, I'd like to be a Nautolan as well and I think that one's likely since they are around as NPC's

Can you imagine being a Nautolan Bounty Hunter/Trooper with a helmet that has holes in it for the lekku? That would be ____ing insane.

Ones from beta are it for launch. Maybe more later, but I can almost guarantee they'll be humanoid / English speaking. Not expecting wookies or trandoshans as playable races anytime soon if ever. Ditto those with odd body geometry due to helmets & hoods.
might be too early in the past for rattataki to have force powers? ::shrugs::
and according to wookiepedia, they changed asajj from rattataki to dathomirian
