It probably needs Windows to be reinstalled. I don't think rebooting the computer until it works is a way to fix anything.

I was trying to find people who had the same problem I was having, that's what they said to do.

Everytime I would click play, the menu would go off the screen leading you to believe the game would start soon..but it wouldn't.

About playing the game with the 30 days included... I think you have to have an active subscription no matter what to play once the "grace period time" is up. The grace period was set up to allow people a few days for the game to be shipped so they'd have a serial to enter into their account. You have to have a subscription to play... Yes you get 30 days free with the game and it is added to your account, but no subscription, no play. At least thats my understanding.

This is correct. In order to play you have to have an active subscription. Meaning you have to set up an automatic payment method so they can charge you each month after your 30 days are up.

Yep, which is really stupid, if you've got 30 days already you shouldn't have to subscribe. I can't setup the subscription since my card information got stolen and so it'll be a week before I get the replacement.

Seems like they're just trying to trick people into forgetting that they setup a subscription so that they can make more money.

Every MMO I've ever played worked the same way subscription wise initially. Besides you kinda expect to pay for the game + the monthly subscription for an MMO. If you plan on only playing for 30 days I'd just wait a few months. I'm sure after the initial start up there will be a free trial type deal that you could use.
Sucks that your card got jacked, been though that a few times and that's bad timing.

It might be standard for MMO's but it doesn't make it OK. There's no reason why you shouldn't be able to play the 30 days that you already paid for before signing up for a subscription.

I was 31 before finishing tatooine (32 jedi knight on hyperspace cannon server). That said, I had out leveled Athiss and the Mandaloruan Commando flashpoints and got almost 0 experience while running them. I also skipped two sidequests and had a partial 3rd that was bugged and could not finish. The quests I skipped were:

Coruscant one where they "true republic" wants you to steal documents from a Senator motioning for support of the Empire. Skipped for role play reasons, but my trooper and smuggler have different motivations.

Other one I skipped was the Taris quest where the refugees wanted you to go onto the war zone to retrieve some of their possessions left behind. Sorry, galaxy to save. I told them to quit being so materialistic

Also been playing my bounty hunter (Kruge) on the Ebon Hawk server. Great times, and love being a snarky badass!

This game really needs something to do while offline. I'm sitting here at work just craving to do something. They need a facebook app to level up your companions while not playing like Assassins Creed.

Yeah i'm in the OTG on SMS but were guilded on the Empire side. I have a lvl 34 merc BH. I rolled a Jedi Knight Sentinal yesterday got him to lvl 11. Gonna have another play with the Commando today, as the short stint i played with him in beta was great fun.

I hope the server is up soon as its a bank holiday.

I'm on an RPG server right now (not PvP). Can't recall the name but I'll check it the next time I'm on. Character is "Tayril Vandon" (Jedi Consular). I'm still doing all the initial sidequests on Tython.
