What are you guys doing for $ for your speeder? I am 21 and have 23k. have not bought anything.


I don't see how i'll have 40k in a few more lvls.

Missions, Selling drops from enemies....that's pretty much it. I just hit level 39 and I have about 270K.

just do the quests Oscorp. I had 8k at 23, and had the requisite 48k by 25 and a half.

I have 4 chars lvl 10-15. 1 lvl 25 and my main which is lvl 46. My main has made over 2 million creds (most of that has been spent) through slicing and selling missions on the AH and doing space combat mostly.

Do the daily space missions and then repeat them over and over as normals, you will make plenty of cash.

Also kill everything in your path.

If you dont plan on doing any crafts as their expensive i highly suggest you pick up slicing, as its free cash in lockboxes which you can locate on your minimap as little stars.

If i keep using artifice will i be able to craft better crystals? How does that work exactly?

I understand that if you make crystals and then reverse engineer them enough, you will get better schematics. I got a schematic for a blue quality crystal that way, and I understand if I reverse engineer the blue enough, Ill eventually get a purple quality. Not blue or purple color, just quality. The same applies for shields and offhand stuff, and any other thing any crafting skill crafts.

Yeah if you reverse engineer anything player made you get a chance for a better version. Blue needs blue mats and purple items need purple mats as well as normal mats. That's were crafting missions via slicing come in handy as you dont have to rely on a crit on sending out a companion on say archeaology or whatever.

I saved all my quest credits from 20 to buy my speeder skill. Free speeder, though.

So I don't know if I should buy the 2nd speeder skill. It's 210K and I think I might be fine with the first speeder. Is the 2nd speeder really necessary????

the biggest plus is you don't get unmounted as easily from what I understand. But yeah, no rush.

I'll probably do Slicing as a 3rd skill on all my characters as I level. I had enough money for the speeder skill and the skills really start to add it at higher level...

Yea they do....one of my level 41 skills cost like $30,000

It's not necessary... But the extra 10% speed helps. You will need to buy the 2nd speeder license to get the 3rd.

So my laptop took a dump on me yesterday and the game crashes to the desktop while loading on my loaner

Seems we had a major performance jump with the patch yesterday. Still not 100% as fast as before but I'd say darn close.

so i finish a flashpoint yesterday (Cademimu) and when my group went to turn in the mission i couldnt get in on it to completely finish it and get social points. i looked at the mission tracker and it seem like i had the flashpoint on there twice, so i tried to abandon one of them but i accidently abadoned the finished one now i have to look for another group to try to do this flashpoint again

absolutely! with all the running around the galaxy and planets you do...if it gets you from point A to point B faster then it's well worth it. wait until you get the 3rd speeder at level 50. the price tag on that skill is over 300k (310k or 330k, i can't remember) and the speeder is about 55k. i never had a problem with obtaining credits for these though. just sell every green item you don't use on the GTN.

I can't seem to sell ____ on the GTN. Even resources don't seem to sell.

EDIT: I truly believe that 90% of players are always broke. I know there are some that know about slicing and such but I think most players are clueless.
