Their items really aren't all that bad at all. No, they're not Hot Toys or Enterbay, but I like what I have in my collection. And considering the alternative is to nothing....

I think my post may have been misread. I love Amok's stuff, like the NOTLD and Teenage Frankenstein, their Gort, etc. But with that said, I don't think they could produce a Mobile Infantry Rico that I'd want to buy. They're great at what they do but in the same vein, something like that might be a little too complex. Their Cylons are a good example of this. I love Cylons, but every time I see theirs, they're just "eh." I wouldn't want to see a Sideshow RoboCop for the same reasons. I doubt they could produce one on par with the one HotToys released. I'd rather go without than suffer a "we tried our best" release that was given no justice. Does that make sense? :huh :lol

Ill do whatever it takes to see a 1/6 Starship troopers Rico figure. I have a custome one..but i would die an go to heaven if hot toys ever did one..i hope they do!!!!!!!!!!

I really wanna see some more starship troopers stuff produced, especially scale ships.... bigger than the tiny 9" rodger young already released.....

you never know. they have done figures for movies that werent explosive at the box office but had a pretty good fan base/cult following. Cant a guy dream ? lol

Loved the movie when it came out, and I still like it a lot but I just wish it didn't have that over polished 'Verhoeven' look, he can't seem to get things dirtied up. Even when he does try they end up looking like the physical effects department just added stategic grime. I know it's all part of the movies 'look' with the utopian facist society, but once off world I wanted a little of that real world... sorry, real off-world filth.

But I'd still be down for a Rico, Dizz and a bug.

Dina Meyer left quite an impression on me!

12 years ago I picked up one of the Roughneck Joes that were made, came with a coffin. I see the site is still up maybe they are still available.

I would still like to see a official set of the figs made available with accurate sculpts.

Yep I still have it, buried somewhere in my storage room. I had also picked up a version made by Polo Moreno, who did Ape Joes. The quality wasn't as good so I sold that one years ago.

Here is a review of one of the versions he did.
