Got me one :chew
These couldn't ship soon enough. Missed out on the original release and although i prefer that one, this looks incredible.
But that would also screw the collectors that like their collectible to at least maintain it's value... The thing I really dislike about flippers, is that they always inspire other people to search for ways to neutralize them, be it with an higher ES, or a higher price. And sincere collectors are always the victim of that....best thing they could do is set a higher es and screw the flipper that bought 4.
I say, keep the ES low, and just sell a limited number at the SDCC. Give the freaks, fans, customers that can't go to the SDCC a fair chance at it. It's perfectly understandable that SSC wants to sell their stuff to the people at the SDCC. That's part of the whole operation. But if they intend to offer some items at a very limited run, they should make sure that all those that can't be there with them, should not be left out. All attendees that wouldn't be able to buy it at the SDCC because the quota is reached, would still have a chance to buy it online.I agree, make it a high ES so all who really want one and couldn't attend SDCC are able to get one,
That guy is Scott Klauder and damn if that's the edition size, may God be with all who want one. I'm ordering mine Tomorrow!!

I really don't understand why they don't just increase edition sizes. period. That way, the cost could stay the same, they would make more $$ and scalpers could finally go the way of the dodo.
I also am completely bewildered by collectors who don't like larger edition sizes. If you purchase something because you like it, why would you have any concern whether there were 100, 1000 or 10,000?
since Ive got one coming I hope they keep the ES to 100
That's plain awesome of you Nash. hehe
I totally agree.
I totally agree.
if you check, more often than not, the item loses it's value. true that some shoot up to almost unheard of amounts but more fall than don't. that being said, many, many people want IM stealth. imo, they should give people what they want.
I perfectly understand what you are saying, but I'm collecting long enough to know how it goes, and many items in my collection would cost you X-times more today, than the original price. The ascent of an items value is definitely not the most important part, but it's a very, very nice side effect. If you "give the people what they want" like you put it, it can only cause a general decline in interest and value. Sideshow knows that. That's why they handle the subject of edition sizes with care. Don't you see the "buzz" this Stealth version of the Iron Man is already causing? It's not because there will be like 5000 of them made.
I don't know about that. I heard that the sun was a strictly limited edition collectible (ES of 1!), and that it will be going on eBay tomorrow for [Dr. Evil]One Billion Dollars[/Dr Evil].this is getting WAY out of control.
If you don't get a stealth iron man comiquette, guess what?
The sun still rises in the morning
