Should I read the book before watching this?

I would. But it's my favorite King book, so I'm a little biased. But it'll give you so much more detail & story than the miniseries or new film will.

I wouldn't mind if this was the steelbook for the bluray.

Luckily my theatre chain where I live doesn't sell tickets that early, they sell them on Wed the week of the premiere at the earliest. But I'll be off the whole week leading up to the premiere, so I'll be able to snag tickets easily.

I haven't bought tickets early except for the original Blair Witch. I just go during early shows, walk right in, and the theater is usually empty.

Im very glad.
Even if i cant go opening weekend, sold out showings is a great sign
