lol who in the right mind would have a conversation with that thing. As a kid I hated clowns.

That leaked footage...god damn....

I can't WAIT until premiere night!!!

If The Last Jedi wasn't coming out this year, this would EASILY be my most anticipated film for 2017.

Just finished re-reading the book last week. And I've got to say that Bill Skarsgard ****ing NAILS Pennywise!!!

I have a feeling this is going to be one of the best big budget horror films in years.

Great new interview with Director Andy Muschietti.

My personal big takeaway

But I always insisted that if there is a second part, there would be a dialogue between the two timelines, and that it would be approached like the adult life of the losers, there would be flashbacks that sort of illuminate events that are not told in the first one.

So we'll get to see MORE scenes with the kids in the 2nd film. So any of those great scenes from the book that don't make the cut (probably stuff like the Black Spot or the smoke visions) can potentially show up in the 2nd film!!!

What if this doesnt do well?

I mean that's always a possibility I guess. But it's already tracking for a $50 mill domestic opening. And all the early screenings have been all been really really positive.

And the plans are already there, and pre-production has started. So I guess technically it COULD get cancelled if this bombed (which I highly doubt it will), but I think its HIGHLY unlikely that we don't get a 2nd film.

I saw the new Annabelle last Friday and they had an extended clip of the gutter/paper boat scene. I've been looking forward to this movie, big time, but the extended clip wasn't scary at all. It was totally lame. The other people with me thought the same thing and they were looking forward to seeing it too. I hope this movie doesn't turn out to be all hype and total ****. Nothing has lived up to the book so far, and this is coming from someone who can't stand Steven King.

that scene is what got me so excited lol :lol

I liked the scene, but I can see what you mean - to be fair though isn't that the only point where It is supposed to appear approachable?

And from what I've read doesn't It tear Georgie's arms off right after the point where they ended the sneak peek?

I think after that we could see a lot more intense situations when It doesn't care about being approachable anymore. I read they wanted this to be R before they even got a director, so it has to be scary. Hopefully. :lol
