Jeeeeezus:

WarBros. and New Line's It has delivered a record-breaking opening, breathing a little life back into the slumping domestic box office. The film has claimed the largest September opening, largest Fall opening, the largest opening for an R-rated horror film, not to mention the largest opening weekend for a horror film of any MPAA rating, and tops Open Road's new release Home Again in second place by nearly $110 million. Overall, the film accounted for more than 75% of the combined gross for the weekend's top twelve, and we've only just begun.

the good thing about making this a trilogy is that now they can record more parts with the kids and use them as flashbacks for the next movies.

They can literally record everything they missed out and just added it to the next one as memories

That woman's idiotic face bugs me so much.... crows, do something about your girl.

Anyway...

Horror's back guys. Been a long time coming. In two years, you'll be racing to the cinema to see some new monster every summer for the next five years after that. But first, the crap will be raced into the theaters for next summer. It will be interesting to see what evolves here.

'Family Horror' might be a new genre. Maybe they'll bring back the old 'Chillers'.

Poor Universal couldn't do with the mummy, frankenstein, dracula and wolfman what WB did with a single clown.

McDonalds sales will increase now lol

Zombies and clowns are the new 'it' monsters.

Gone are aliens, terminators and predators.

And clearly gone are Dracula, Frankenstein and the werewolf. :lol

I see a really bad "Zombie Clowns" movie coming soon.
