This reminds me-
For people who enjoyed the book, it's worth reading (or at least wiki-ing) another SK book, 11/22/63. In it, the protagonist time travels from the present back to Derry in the fall after the Losers defeat IT for the first time. In his wanderings around the town he encounters some signs that Pennywise is certainly not finished. And he also runs into a few familiar faces to IT fans...

Doesn't Hulu or Amazon have a mini-series adaptation of that with James Franco?

I think Hulu but the Derry stuff is all removed from the miniseries. I've only read the book once but to say the Derry stuff, which is about the first 1/4 of the book, is superfluous to the main plot is being generous. It's about preventing the Kennedy assassination but the main character tries to prevent another crime (in Derry) since he is years early for Kennedy. i think they keep that thread but move it to somewhere closer to Dallas.

But for me, as a huge IT fan, it's the best part of the book. Beyond the bit of Pennywise creep and the appearance of beloved characters, it's really cool to get this new, modern character's observations about Derry.

It made it to number 1 again :lol :lol

I have never witness a movie get back to number 1 before.
Kind of weird, but awesome

It happens every 1-2 years or so. Last time was The Martian losing the #1 spot to Goosebumps but then reclaiming it the next two weekends after that. Before that the first GotG lost #1 to the first Michael Bay Ninja Turtles before reclaiming the top spot a couple weekends later.

*puts on nerd glasses*

Pennywise is male.

The creature MIGHT be female.

At one point Maturan (the world turtle) refers to IT as his brother.

Summation: No one ****ing knows.

P.S. King was coked.

Just one more pocket-protector factoid - it has somehow produced a whole bunch of eggs. Whether it laid them or used some other means, I don't recall. But the ending seems to indicate, whatever was said before, that IT is a mommy. Or, in crows' case, a MILF.
