Nah, that's one of the cool things about being part of this forum. Information sharingcheers for the experiment lawrence, feel as tho we all owe ya in way for that. salute!
Reason I say this is because Lawrence bought his spare body separately, so we wont know if anything else has been done to the body before he received it. Could it been mishandled before being sent or something else? Who knows....just saying thats all. Anythings possible.
as he said bod came from toy anxiety, they have been parting out figures for ages im sure they didnt handle/pose it at all picked it up from box and carefully packed it and shipped it to him.
Toy Anxiety didn't mistreat the body before sending it. They are a good place to get spare parts from. Body was mint before I messed with it.Toy Anxiety does not pose their parts, this body came straight out of the box which means it was a pristine new body, never used
I would say that, like other rubber bodies, maybe their are warnings about this type of prolonged posing in the instruction manual or something. So it might not even be meant to be handled the way I did. If you're warned against it, I guess you can't really blame SC for it. If you're not warned against it (via included instruction sheet), then less knowledgeable collectors might be disappointed if holes appear in theirs.
Out of curiosity, I checked another one of my rubber bodies today (I think it's a Coo Model seamless body), that I'm using for a William Wallace figure, that has been posed with his arm bent at around 90 degrees, holding a sword, for maybe months now, & other than being wrinkled, it's fine. So it can be done. Although, that body smells a bit for whatever reason
