Perhaps. I really don't know how it wound up like that.

I know I'm experimenting with the body, but I'm not purposefully being over reckless with it. I didn't twist it side to side quickly like I was making Tyson do real life punches, even though that would be cool :lol

Am I supposed to lift the waist before twisting? Not something I'm used to doing with other figures. I simply twisted it side to side without lifting.

Without clothes, because I don't even have my Tyson figure yet (already shipped from BBTS though).

I'm thinking it might be more weak glue than tearing rubber. Although I think a little tear happening now.

I see. Again, thanks for the info. Much appreciated.
Like you said, whether you need to lift the waist up or not before twisting is a new thing. I just thought since the arms, head and feet are prone to cause issues if not handled correctly, the same method should apply to the waist and also the upper arms and legs too. This is an entirely new body we talking about. So much mysteries with it. lol

Hope you get your new figure soon, be nice to see your take on your other bodies.
When you said weak glue, looking closely at the pics again, it does kind of look like it came off cleanly or ripped from underneath the rubber suit. Then slowly tearing the very left side of the torso. Wonder if its the same on the front side too. (far right of the tear)

With all these issues Feeling disappointed [emoji17]. I have the pile of loot at BBTS and it hasn't shipped yet, I'm waiting for the Olympic version as well but thinking about canceling all together because of all these issues.

I don't want to scare peeps away from what could turn out to be a really nice figure in person, & what might be an isolated situation of me getting a sloppy body, or handling it a fraction rougher than I should, or both.

Thanks for the reassurance, this piece is special to me and I'd hate to not have it in my collection. A buddy of mine locally has one and has no issues but its museum pose lol. Haven't seen it person yet but still excited for him.

Agree with whats said here. Though its never nice to get a dud figure or any issues at all, best advice for those still on the fence is to wait for more reviews etc to show up.

Ive had my figure from day one pretty much and so far no issues, then again I have mine in museum poses so it really depends how one interacts with their own figure. Its nice to see how these body react in all sorts of situations for everyone so we can gauge the overall quality of them and hopefully avoid any future issues with future releases. We constantly strive to find a good balance for these sorts of bodies and hope Storm and any other company can achieve that one day.

On the last few pages I noticed more users are starting to get their orders in so hopefully they get a good experience out of all this in due time.
The recent elbow and knee split issue found in the other chinese thread seems to have died down and not one comment has been brought up again from the user that posted the pic. Other members said they got split issues as well, but none were able to provide further details or photos for their cases.

Its really hard to understand the issue/s if none of them are willing to speak up about it.

I canceled my figure from bbts. The body really concerns me. Hope this means another figure becomes available for one of you guys

Lawrence, all these issues are on the same body from Toy Anxiety? Hope its just an isolated issue.

im still curious as to what storm would say in regards to the posted issues with bod etc.
if i have any issues i plan on emailing them direct to ask/complain.

Yeah. It's only on the one body. The other body I got, is still mint since I haven't bent anything at all. I only plan on abusing one body :lol
KID DYNAMITE! WBC Belt made by Full Metal. About as Dynamic as a pose I will get. :lol Not going to bend arms.:(
Imagining the price of a Fullmetal belt, I'm thinking buying a spare body to abuse would be peanuts for you :lol

:lol:lol IBF & WBA Belts to go.:horror

As much as Tyson was one of my idols, I like him even more nowadays. I do hope they make a older Tyson, with the face tatoo and with a regular (non-rubber) body.

My condolences for the loss your wallet has endured .....

I've asked them on a personal level and they have told me their reasons which I have written out a few pages back. Reasons for BBTS delays as well as the split at the elbow and knee pic shown from another thread.

How this is interpreted is up to you. I do hope and wish you look in getting feedback from them. Chances are they won't reply.

As for future Tysons. Last time if I remembered correctly they are and will be continuing making further figures for the line.

Next phase should be a more mature and tattooed up version. Minus the face tattoo. Unless this is scrapped.

Another guy on Facebook had the figure elbows split already. For those of us who aren't on this forum they don't know any better to not bend this figure and keep museum pose when leaving him displayed. With a heavy heart I'm going to cancel my order on BBTS so it's up for grabs. I just can't stomach a highly risk faulty body figure. Hopefully storm addresses the issues and maybe replaces or makes a 2.0 version. I may pick up down the line.

Thats too bad. Would you mind linking us where this photo is on facebook? Would like to see the condition of his/her figure.

Thanks.
