Storm Premium Format

I'd buy Jim Lee Jean, but I'd prefer a Phoenix PF (green) to display with this Storm and Wolverine. When SS adds in Nightcrawler, it's the "Dark Phoenix Saga" on our shelves.

I have all the 90s/Jim Lee PFs, but for most X-Men who were around in the 70s and 90s, I'd prefer the 70s version if we can't just break the set and do modern costumes. The only ones where the Jim Lee costume was necessary were the best 2 (Gambit & Psylocke) and the worst one (Rogue).

I would also love if they produced a Phoenix (or dark version) PF and Nightcrawler too. The comiquette really doesn't cut it for me.

Agree. I hate the reg head. But the ex head is good enough for me to buy this one. Now only if they could do the same for spider woman.

The precedent has been established by Rogue and Psylocke. X chicks need updated heads. Yeah, their updates were for different reasons, but it's becoming a rule at this point.

I wouldn't bet on it, but if Storm gets improved heads before her release like Psylocke did, people will wish they had PO'd this. Lose-lose, because you can't PO banking on a change that might not happen, but if it does, you probably lose out of something you now want.

It would be nice if they did update the head sculpt but POing something and hoping they do change it is not a good idea. No one wants to lose $35.

I rather like the portraits, well definitely the exclusive head. That one is gorgeous. The other head looks good in certain photos, but not so good in other photos.

Yes for storm I like the ex head. The reg head is so so to me. If no ex head I will have to pass.

How do you know Sideshow will do another version of Storm in PF format?

Oh, that's good. I ordered the classic costume version, I would probably order a Lee costume too.

Not a challenge or to say anyone is wrong at all, but when did SS say this? I'm curious and would still buy despite getting this one so I can put her with the other 90s X-Men.

It would have to be a completely new sculpt if they do the X Base.

Q.For the Premium Format X-Men line, I’m concerned that we won’t be getting a Storm or Nightcrawler version? I wasn’t impressed with the Comiquette version of Storm (punk look distracting), any plans for her in Premium Format? I do like the Comiquette version of Nightcrawler, but would prefer him in a Premium Format too, any plans?

Why so concerned? You’ll probably find yourself pleasantly surprised within the year, with at least one of the two. We’re pretty firmly dedicated to bringing all of the major players from the Lee era of X-men to life in PF.

I think sideshow knows that there's already a pre built demand for the jim lee, they probably put this one out first just so people that wanted a storm can have one

Ok, I do remember that. I took it for value at the time, but they said they'd be doing the major characters from the Lee era, but they didn't necessarily say in the Lee costumes. Not that I don't a Lee Storm will hit eventually anyway.
And then there's Nightcrawler, who was on Excalibur at the time, not X-Men. But they said "within the year, with at least one of the two" which makes me think (hope) Nightcrawler PF will hit soon.

I actually spent some time enjoying my PF's on display today and concluded that I really dont like the X or A bases. I really like the natural environments much more. The smashed ground beneath she hulk, the rocks for cyclops even the rubble emma is standing on...when you line them up next to each other the letters are so boring and actually awkwardly big and make it difficult to pose them next to each other.
