I got another message from someone at ST this morning saying that 'the figure will have everything you need'. I also received a message from a dealer who said that the CEO of ST confirmed that the logo will be on the jersey and warmup suit.

Anyone heard when these will ship? This whole process has been ridiculously long.

I bought one of the storm toys backboards off eBay and its arriving tomorrow. It arrived at my post office this morning but after the mail run had already been sent out… hate when that happens! I'll post pictures and impressions since I have not seen any online.

I just don't get this figure... if it were half the price of Enterbay it would make sense... but it being even MORE expensive than an actual licensed Jordan... I just... don't... get it... :dunno

You see the prices of unlicensed stuff in here? :lol

I don't think peeps are too hung up on whether something is licensed or not, as long as the product is good, or better than what's already available. I'm not saying this is better than EB's, I'm simply saying.

I guess we'll find out if it is worth the asking price.

This figure was teased way before I remember EB coming into the picture, so they probably didn't want to cancel it after all the work they might have already put into it. Kinda like the unlicensed Walking Dead figures. ThreeZero has the license, but do you think the other guys are going to stop selling their unlicensed figures/parts, or lower the price tag to $130 for a complete figure?

Hmmm :lol

I don't think the figures I'm talking about have such low edition sizes. But anyway .....

Fully licensed doesn't always mean better. I want the better figure. Whether it is licensed or not. I don't know which one is better yet, but if the Storm Toys figure is better, then I suspect it would be a bit more difficult to obtain later. If the EB figure is better, then cool, there's like a bajillion of them to choose from :lol

It's true that the licensed one may not always be better, but to Kuzeh's point, the unlicensed one should be cheaper, because licensing fee is a big chunk of the initial investment, especially with big franchise like the NBA. So without the need to pay licensing fees, Storm Toys should have a lower cost, and I can't imagine they have a bigger R&D budget than Enterbay... my $0.02

According to you guys, I guess all these unlicensed products here should be way cheaper then :dunno

$130 for Rainman, iMiniMe, Serang, & WGP figures :yess: .....

I am going to weigh in on this discussion. Storm Toys has had two releases prior to 'the Legend'--two Tyson figures totalling 300 units released-world-wide. How in god's green earth can you state that their figures should be cheaper to purchase. They MUST have higher costs due to the fact that these are VERY limited release, they have only TWO prior figures sell-outs/profit to sink into another release. The production costs must be higher then Enterbay, because, this has an edition size of 300 figures--the profit magin smaller. The same can be said for the Company (name escapes me) that are releasing the Dr. Who figures--yes licensed, but NO where near the quality of Storm Toys -- who's prices are very expensive for what you get--and with a much larger production number, but much less production numbers compared to Hot Toys or Sideshow.

I trust that this figure will turn out fine, and will be good value for the higher cost. My 2 cents.

Edition size is 250 Ebor :D :lol

Edit: If for whatever reason (I think it might have happened before) you guys feel my posts are combative (I think there's a better word for what I mean :lol), they really aren't meant to be. Simply discussing. Thought I'd clear that up :D
