Storm - white costume EXTREMELY limited exclusive

Thank you! I couldn't pass it up. I love the black version with the EX head so much, and Mark's sculpt (plus she's my all time fav character). I know the costume isn't comic accurate, but it's still gorgeous on her.

It's not BS. Sideshow has been doing this for years for their events like SDCC and Spooktacular, randomly dropping ultra-limited items with little or no notice. Yeah, life gets in the way, and sometimes you miss out. But that's just the name of the game. And I wouldn't rely on emails to be notified. They are secondary when it comes to other faster notification methods like social media. If you are following their events, all i can say is be prepared for something like this to happen.

This is the first time I notice these random insertions. Was the white storm today's sdcc item? Or just an extra? I kind of like these unannounce listings. Makes things fun again. If I get it good. If not then whatever. I admit have not had this kind of rush since pcs. Thank you SS

Sorry to hear about that bud - I guess they're of the mindset that it's fair to everyone since no one knows.

On the (semi) plus side, I'm sure lots of these will be flipped due to the low ES, so you could still get one later.

I am absolutely crushed by this. I got the email and immediately went to order. This is a statue I was even watching the proof on in ebay debating getting...only to miss because they sent me an email about a sold out statue...WTF?

I mean, if you have Zero chance of getting what you want...what is the point of this hobby? So you can be gouged by some a-hole flipper having the same statue shipped/drop kicked twice?

This wasn't even teased, I mean, come on, how are you supposed to have a fighting chance? This type of thing isn't exciting or fun.

I am actually feeling physically ill right now.

Storm blows anyway, but I do feel for the fans of the character who actually have a life and work for a living, and/or sleeping on the other side of the world that missed out on this. SS could've at the least given a decent heads-up through their newsletter letting everyone know that this was gonna happen sometime during the week, and to be on the look-out. I agree...it's BS.

It almost makes you wonder if they're gonna do the same thing with Batman, since his Batsuit can technically be another color. Mark the time and date...I bet it happens.

Except for the fact that Storm is best female character...my favorite lady, anyway.

And yeah, I've always expected them to do a limited Batman, probably with solid blue cape, cowl, boots and gloves. I also expect it to piss off more than Droids and White Storm ever could if it happens.

And 20.00 more too! Should have came with the ex head I agree. I'm so glad I'm not trying to everything anymore. So if this con efts it will be a treat. If not then tome to move on. A Jim lee storm ex head would be so nice! Maybe a custom by someone?

Looks like BS to me, the white costume should be the Jim lee outfit this is just weak. Just another attempt to make the sheep jump, congrats to all that wanted it and got, but shame on SS these hype inducing tactics, I thought they were passed that.

Didn't this happen with the thing PF? The reg was not moving so they added pants on the reg and resold some as another ex.

I don't know if thats what they did, if you think about it they still have to have the same number of regs as the ES states. I think they may have just recast her and used the white, this way they gain the 150 sales and possibly get attention put back on the reg with new customers. But its just a theory.

At least those of you that missed out will have a shot to get her again, and probably right at or slightly above retail. Remember the white Elektra and black Elektra coms? Those things are a tough sell in the aftermarket.

Oh if they really did do that thats way low. It'd make the number of the regular editions inaccurate. I really hope they didn't do that.
