All of the social media and email alerts WERE LATE... Except FB. The only reason I knew about this BEFORE IT SOLD OUT was I was alerted by guys on the boards.

Do we have a new SDCC page up on here yet.... One page where all of the updates can go for fast and easy check ins???

eh, no it wasn't. I saw it on Sideshow's Facebook, clicked it, and there it was. Still for sale. For at least another 45 minutes.

But then again, Facebook has this nasty sorting order that can display the "most important" updates first, and that sucks. If you have it chronologically, usually it's ok.

Okay I stand corrected on FB, butit didn't appear on mine till later, but I can say it wasn't announced on TWITTER till she was almost sold out.... That I do know.

You know what I agree it does suck for true Storm fans who missed out. I could have got this on the second round of availability, but I stopped my self. I would have ONLY bought it to flip it. I KNOW I could have doubled my money easily, maybe made a lot more, but I had just read all of these guys on the board who were s disappointed that they missed it.... I just couldn't take a chance away from them....... I will admit I was very close to completing an order though.

That was the ethical thing to do.

I feel that it is actually bad mojo to swoop in and grab something that I don't really want, that someone else might have an emotional attachment to; as in, maybe the next time I reallyreallyreally want something, someone else in turn will snatch that away from ME.

That's just me tho.

Gee it must be too hard for some of you to go to the sideshow home page at whatever the xx.xx time is where you live and check. For me it's 3am in the morning. I get out of bed, middle of winter, every day this month and I check the sideshow website. New orders are right there on the page. Sometimes they are late, sometimes there's nothing and it sucks.
Using FB, twit er, email to find out? ... noobs!

I was just arbitrarily checking how many points my account had around 11:30 MST when I noticed it was up. Thought it was strange since I didn't recall anything having been mentioned up for PO except possibly Sinestro.

Lol, you guys are amazing. On this site daily people complain about high ES, TBD Edtion status and delays. Sideshow gives you a variant with none of those "issues" and this place is still *****ing central and some of you are even reversing your prior complaints. Unreal.

I like this idea. Leave it up for 24 hours as a TBD ES and then after 24 hrs (and without warning) have her listed as sold out. This works for 3 reasons. One, if a flipper sees a TBD ES, they'll more than likely pass on the piece. Two, everyone will have a 24 hour window to order and have a fair shot at the piece. Third, the ES will still be low because SSC will have suddenly stop taking orders after 24 hours.

Even then there will be peeps that will complain that they needed more time. However, if a piece is up for 24 hours, I truly think that everyone has a fair shot at it. Drag your feet or pass at your own peril. At least all of our fellow freaks that missed out would have had a fair chance of adding this piece to their collection. Also, this would help retain a low ES for the piece. A win-win scenario.

Constant *****ing and moaning tends to do it to me regardless of what it is. It just takes some of the fun away of coming to the thread and reading new comments, because instead of reading positive comments about a cool piece, all we hear is moaning.

I guess I worded that poorly. It's not dampening my personal excitement of receiving the statue next week, it's dampening my desire to come into this thread.

Yeah, I have no horse in this race as well. I think the classic black EX is a better looking piece. Especially with the COH that was offered with it. However, we all like different things. I feel for the members here who really wanted this piece but couldn't get one.
