Its finally over? Thank god!!! Loved the 3 books, but the show was awful

Honestly, its more like Fear the Walking Dead quality; an incredible group of actors in a WTF type show.

Yeah and the very first episode was stellar ....great filming HD quality, Deltoro directing.....

TWD first episode by Darabondt was similar. I saw a falloff in the quality of the filming after that as well. Then Nictero took over and the quality improved.

So ebay has a bunch of DVD sets released as part of FYC (for your consideration) to academy votes, so took a chance on Ebay for $30 set that looks pretty sweet.

First episode down. Pretty good. Predictable but entertaining. They nailed the early 80's... but lifted so many little bits from other movies that I felt like I was watching a nostalgia show.

Winona makes me nervous.

Oh its definitely an alma gum of all the classic 80's stuff.....nothing hugely original, but a nice trip down memory lane.....

Episode 2 was good. Would like more monster.

The "Halloween" style theme always cracks me up. Love the ET baddies with the low-tech looking but high-tech sounding equipment.

Definitely an alma gum.

I thought she did a good job and she, IMO, fits right in with this series.

I didn't mean to sound like she wasn't. She is doing a great job or she wouldn't make me nervous.

She was my fantasy girlfriend all thru the 90's. We had a good time together.
