Stranger Things (Netflix show)

Finished the show a couple hours ago and for those expecting the infamous second season slump so many shows fall victim too, I am thankful to say you will get no such thing from Stranger Things. Season 2 was outstanding!! It may have started a little slow, but each episode just gets better and better and ultimately your left with just an amazing second season for this series. Can't wait to see where they go with season 3. Such a great cast and so many possibilities.

Watched ep 1 before bed, and I love how the Thriller trailer had some misdirection...things didn't happen as you would fully expect. Very good start. Has all the little moments that made Season 1 awesome

If you enjoyed season 1, your going to love season 2. Since I watched it so quickly, I don't want to post any spoilers, but this season has just a ton of amazing scenes. And all the newcomers did an amazing job including Sean Astin and Paul Reiser. Just an amazing cast and everyone holds their weight with great performances.

Just finished up season 2 and loved it. It was a helluva lot of fun and had some really sweet character and world building moments. Gonna be a long wait for season 3 now.

We just finished it up now. Really damn good. Except for that one episode involving Elevens little side story. I really didn't care much for that. I understood it, but I just wasn't interested in who these people were. Glad they brought it back to Hawkins after that. Really awesome and strong finish.


My favorite moment of the whole season was "GO AWAY!" That was a fantastic "oh ****" moment.

Also the kid who plays Will is ridiculous. He is so good. His acting is beyond even some of the adults.

I can't believe how talented all the kid actors are, especially the one playing Will. He had to show an insane range of emotions. Hope he gets an emmy for it. The show must have been so hard to shoot what with child labor laws restricting shooting times but it seems to be worth it to use real kids with that much charisma.

I skipped episode seven. I knew it was gonna blow and it looks like I made the right call.

It was an entertaining program, like the first season. I was much more interested in the characters and their relationships than the stupid monsters and stuff though.

I can’t believe I wasted my time on this crap.

I wasted 9 hours on stupid cgi dogs.

What’s so good about that Will actor all he did was scream and that got annoying real quick.

What the hell was 8 in this show for what a waste. That was worse than X-Men 3 lol.

The climax was a huge let down.

I do think the relationship with the kids is presented better as is the 80’s theme than IT but that’s not a fair comparison, 2 hours vs 9 hours to tell your story.

I cringed at the Reiser Aliens homage.

A seriously way over rated show.

cgi dogs as the main villains...wow how exciting.

Slow burns I don’t mind and the relationships were well done in both seasons but especially in S2 BUT the show fails horribly at providing a good antagonist.

When your best villain is a blonde rocker bully your inter dimensional show is in trouble.

Lol yup. Also i'm getting sick of this 80s trend. Seems like everyone is damn fascinated by the 80s recently and every movie and tv show is trying to be all 80s. But yea the monsters I never saw as a threat in this show nor did they look appealing. Also the kids can be rather annoying at times.
