I got it for the PS3. It's got Trophies which is a nice touch. I also find it easier to pull off the moves than I did with Street fighter HD on the Xbox.
I really have not had a problem with Seth on the easiest level, I just keep attacking him and won't relent. I'm trying to unlock Akuma now I think I have to get a perfect and no continues.

i've tried that and he either does that weird vacuum thing or if i jump in he just dragon punches me. if i try to throw fireballs he just does the sonic booms and the super sonic boom.

2 perfects and 2 ultra finishers to unlock akuma...and no continues.

hmm...i wonder if you can do a data transfer on a memory card to unlock characters??

because i dont see myself doing it. i can barely beat it with Ken and Ryu. and certainly couldn't do it without continuing against Seth.

If your having trouble just drop the difficulty setting down.

I'm stuck at trying to beat it on hardest and defeat Gouken at the same time.

lol...i'm sticking with my shooters and Metal Gear games. i haven't played a SF since Xmen vs SF on my saturn back in the day. this game is getting traded in next week towards killzone 2.

well i knew i was gonna be awful but i didn't know that akuma was locked from day one. this is a sin IMO. he's so popular and been around for so long that he should be a regular character.i knew gouken was gonna be locked but i can't see myself keeping interest long enough to do it. with killzone, RE, halo wars this game would get shelved anyways, now i'm so frustrated i don't see a point to even keep it.

me too, but sadly my Saturn died a few years ago and i haven't made myself buy a new one yet. there's a local used game store around the corner with one for $50 and i keep telling myself i dont need it, but i really do want to buy it.

I'm with you man, I cannot beat Seth on the easiest difficulty. Only did it once and that was with Ryu. I can't do it with anyone else :'(.

I also still got my Marvel vs Capcom 2 for PS2, and it's still flawless But I cant find my PS2 memory card right now, I know I unlocked some characters.

It's not easier per se, it's just faster. The problem is, for Akuma and Gouken, you cannot use any continues, so setting rounds to one is risky. But if you're tired of going through Arcade mode over and over, that's the way to go. I really hate having to beat arcade mode with every character to unlock Seth. ugh.
