street fighter 4 is awasome but I still think this is my favorite fighting game of all time.

DRAGONBALL Z BUDUKAI 3 delivers all sorts of kick ass.
the moves are very easly done and even if you are about to lose you can turn the tide very quicly.

the finishing attacks are amazing and right off the anime.
I wish there was online play.

Meh, had that game. found it uninspiring to play. too much button mashing.

Imo SF is the best fighter series of all time followed by KoF. Ive never been a fan of Tekken or Soul Caliber etc.

As a kid, it was SF II followed by Mortal Kombat II, and then the King of Fighters games. Of all the games I've played over the years, Street Fighter II is still the best "2-D fighter," followed by Soul Caliber II (which, I guess, isn't technically a 2-D fighter at all, but. . .). I loved the characters from the Marvel vs. Capcom games, but it was too hectic, and required too much knowledge of stupid multi-button combos to win.

Anybody remember Killer Instinct? Funny how popular that game was in its hey-day, and yet nobody really seems to care much for it anymore.

My favorite series is probably a toss up between Street Fighter and Tekken. SF4 is keeping me busy as the wait for T6BR is going to be very long for consoles anyway.

Overall I feel that I like Tekken 6BR over Street Fighter 4.

Love that game. Always wanted a new KI game.

My wife loves this game!

She loves to watch me yell at the screen with great phrases like "What the ^^^^? Why am I even playing this game? Yeah, just grab me right through the move! Wasn't I ^^^^ing blocking? I might as well just sit the controller down? How the? What the?"

Yeah, she loves it.

As far as 2-D Fighters, I think SF is the best. But for 3-D Fighters, Soul Calibur is my favorite. :D

Street Fighter will always be the game that true gamers consider to be the end all be all in fighting. There is nothing else bar none.

Although I do love me some Mortal Kombat. It still doesn't compare to this. No other game has as much strategy behind it as this game does.

Agreed. most of the other fighters are just button mashers. I mean, there are legitimate great players but anyone who picks up a controller and can mash buttons can win some fights on those.

With SF, you can button mash all you want and youre going to get your ass handed.

I think what made SC4 great, besides just being an awesome fighting game, is the character customization. That was just epic in my opinion, and I absolutely loved it.

Yeah, it's SF all the way in my book. I never got all the hype from the Tekken series. Fun enough to play but any jackass can play that game. I loved the Killer instinct games and still do, I play killer instinct gold on my N64 a few times a month still. King Of Fighters was an awesome game as well. Neo Geo had a lot of cool games back in the day. My favorite of those I can't even remember the name of but you could cut the guys in half and it pretty much invented the dash forward and back moves. The early MK games are the ^^^^ too.

That's what makes it great!

yeah but I was going players I wasn't familiar with...Gen, Abel etc

you stuck with sagat, blanka etc

:lol

I played as Sagat once, and also chose fighters i've never played as, like the ryu chick, the fat ass guy, etc.

Can't take the heat, get out the kitchen :rotfl

ryu, sagat, sakura...all the same moves :rotfl

Some similar move-sets but all different in stats and style of play.

That's the thing with SF. People see a lot of characters which use the same moves (fireball, srk, etc) and assume they are all the same just different character designs. In reality it couldnt be further from the truth since each one commands their own type of game plan to go into a fight to win.
