have everyone except Gouken and Seth, and just beat the game with 3 perfects and 3 ultras and didnt unlock gouken. almost seems like a waste of time trying to get him and nothing.

Just put the game on hard for the first time and won about 4 matches before I got beat by Ken. I am getting it!

yeah i just saw that and only caught the last 20 minutes of it. haven't seen it in a few years though....wow that animation was bad. much prefer the SF II movie better.
you just need to have been involved somehow since SFII at least.Ive been playing since SF 1, the arcade cabinet has two huge punch pads (one for punch and one for kick) and depending on how hard you hit them would determine the power of your strikes.

i dont get it, i unlocked/beat arcade with all the norm characters except for seth and gouken. got 4 perfects and 3 or 4 ultra finishes no continues and i got no final battle with gouken. i thought those were the requirements to get him.

did you unlock akuma?? i know once you unlock akuma you have to beat it again with someone you've already beaten it with to get gouken to come out. and after that do it again to get seth unlocked. of course i still haven't beaten it with sakura so crap on me.
