The movie was made for me; visually amazing, over the top action, strong, beautiful female heroes and covers of really great songs.

I can't wait for the Rocket figure. I like all of them but with other purchase I had to choose sides, Rocket was my favorite so she wins.

I don't think Rocket has been announced, unless you know something we don't? Or are you speculating/hoping for a Rocket figure? I know I am

Or are you getting Rocket (the younger of the 2 sisters) mixed up with Sweet Pea (the older of the two) who GG has already shown us a statue of?

Just got back from seeing sucker punch and all I have to say is please Gentle Giant finish what you started, I need Rocket.

I was responding to a line of conversation there?
Maybe you should go back and tell each and every person there, discussing SP box office to do the same thing?

Beautiful design, I thought they were quite brave to give it a large nose (you can't really see it in that pic).
Would be a great statue or HT release (obviously not in scale) My favourite part of the movie also.

I was assuming they just hadn't announced Rocket and Blondie yet. Would find it strange to put out only 3 of 5 girls.

People on the StatueForum are dogging this flick. Along with all the critics who say it sucked.
Maybe it's more for the younger not so analytic crowd.
I'll have to check it out. Still wouldn't pre-order a GG piece. You'll be lucky if these statues still look like women by the time their factory gets done with them.
Now if for some miracle they come out great and I like the movie, I'll track some down. Shouldn't be too hard. Many canceled after watching the movie.

sorry, I quoted yours just as a general thing to hopefully not let the talk of it "bombing" go on here and instead have ppl talk about it in it's proper place. I should've put the link to it's proper thread in my post, my fault

I did read the few blurps about "what if it bombs?" but nothing geared towards if the line will continue based on the movie's BO outcome. can you show me those posts? Serious question b/c I don't remember seeing them while keeping up with the thread and going back still don't see them . But my post wasn't aimed at you, though, man. I know it's not "my" thread. I just hate seeing things on the board get so mixed up and threads derailed with ppl who come in and kind of ruin things for those who enjoy a certain topic or whatever, like what generally happens in the DC section with Joker talk and everyone goes all haywire. So, just seeing the the article that you posted, I felt like I should just step in and point that talk towards the movie section. My tone was a bit rough and I'm sorry about that. Could've been handled better. Again, sorry about that.

Thats very fair and honest Gipetto, I was honestly just answering posts in this thread like the ones below. Both Sucker Punch threads are full of talk about the BO and the negative reviews the movie is getting. I really did not intend to derail the tread. No worries, lets move on?

I hate to say it, but I think this movie is gonna bomb.

So the movie is out tomorrow, any word on when the Babydoll statue will appear? The release date seems to vary between the different e-tailer sites.

I hope it is a good movie, but even if it bombs I will still be very happy with my decision to pre-order all 3 statues...as long as they look close to the prototypes!!

I would love to get my hands on one of these pieces, especially baby doll. The price is whats keeping me from spending on it, well...not so much the price I guess, as it's the height of this statue. Maybe if it was under 13" in I would consider deeply about purchasing one of these "bad girls." LOL!

Im not sure why people would be dogging this. I thought it was a really cool movie. I feel sorry for whoever sees a movie about a mentally disturbed hottie dressed like a school fighting machine gun samurai and nazi zombies and is expecting something deep and analytical. Nevetheless I was surprised at the story and thought it interesting.

You might wanna check out the Hot Toys sucker punch thread. Those figures will be about 12" and half the price of the gg statues.. plus they will be poseable!

As much as I have been skeptical of GG's past quality, I'm expecting these to turn out quite good, as they did say that they changed factories.

Scared them so much they couldn't tell that it wasn't that giant samurai who had the big nose. The one with the big cleaver had it.
