Who was Michael Rooker supposed to be and what was his power? Throwing racquetballs at people?
Savant. Yeah, not explained well. Guess he is like Bullseye/Deadshot and manipulates objects and angles.

I just watched Hobo with a Shotgun

Simple title. Tells you all you need to know. :lol

I watched this (Suicide Squad, not Hobo) last night. Wished I watched Hobo.

It was just terrible. I found nothing redeeming, so I have nothing specific to point out. Not worth the time to bash it.

And I really had high hopes for Gunn. Definitely his worst yet.

Awesome. Didn't even notice that. I'm guessing there are other Easter Eggs at the prison.

The other is Double Down, a Flash villain even I never heard of. DC has some stupid characters.

Comics are full of D/Z-Lister enemies that are utter trash. It's fun doing readathons of a long-running series and coming across an issue and a villain you've literally never seen referenced anywhere. It makes it apparent how the majority, even in comic forums, just stick to the classics and don't venture far off.

Opening scene on the beach sure felt an awful lot like Deadpool 2 where they built these characters up and then they all die in stupid ways in five seconds jumping out of the helicopter.

I suppose, but then it would seem strange that she put Flagg with the group that was meant to get killed/captured only to then order the other group to temporarily pause the main mission to rescue him.
Oh yeah, forgot about Flagg being in that group. So that other character was just stupid and Waller went with two teams to increase the odds of some of them getting through. Makes more sense - what little of it that could be found in this film lol.

What turned me off from the movie was the way he portraited Waller, she is so out of character by the end of the movie that you don't even recognize her anymore.
Its a good movie but inferior to both GOTG.

Well, when Hollywood starts making good movies and TV shows, we'll be excited and happy.

Look at how we reacted to The Mandalorian. After I saw the pilot, I completely lost my ****.

Its a good movie but inferior to both GOTG and the first Suicide Squad, what scare me the most is how warner intend to keep using Gunn.
Waller wouldn't let an incompetent crew run the show. If someone hit her over the head with a golf club, Waller would have her family killed. Then kill the rest that didn't kill her immediately. That's why that whole angle reminded me of Cabin in the Wood, which was also a dumb, awful movie.
Nice to see the forum hasn't changed and everyone still hates every movie and TV show that comes out
Which ones are good?

Earlier you had mentioned that you watched Angelina Jolie forest fire movie -- was that any good? Silly question, I know. Asking for my wife.
Lol at "asking for my wife." ;) As for was it any good, not really. It held my interest for a decent portion but really fizzled out by the end.

YES, she totally would do that, i just did not get why Gunn choose to do this to create conflict as the squad already had a "bargain" object to negotiate their lives with Waller.
