Love that movie. Schloky and fun.

I know right. I even found myself being surprisingly fascinated by the bizarre mythology that they were inadvertently creating, one with man-sized octopus creatures that are inexplicably kept in dungeons and smoking school buses that take villains to hell, lol.

One thing is certain: DC needs to part ways with Harley Quinn entirely.
I guess it's because she was well after my time in comics, but it's a character I want to like more than I do, but just can't -- I ignore her in comics and animation. I'll watch the films once, but the character has no staying power for me.

I get that she's insane and all, but she's also implausibly strong, fast and durable for a normal human.

Not as implausible as MCU Black Widow maybe -- :chase -- but close.

She's annoyingly low brow and trashy. A simpleton's Jokerette with prurient appeal.

Also sad that they had to attach her to Joker and dilute his style. Worst thing about the animated series.

Was BW a worthy entry into the Infinity Saga jye?
Unfortunately not.

Close but you can’t almost be pregnant so close don’t count.

I will not be adding it into my collection which sounds crazy in my head when I say it but I need to honest with myself.

Were there good elements in it of course there were like really good but ultimately it does not enhance the greater IS narrative in any manner it only serves to create a new BW going forward….meh.

BW was decent enough in the IS as is but this movie could’ve improved her standing in it but it failed doing the one thing it really needed to do before focusing on creating a new BW which should’ve been its second priority which it actually succeeded in doing by the way so it was very frustrating that it failed in it’s primary mission, primary for me anyways.

It’s all good though the IS remains perfect for me so Phase 4 thru 100 can suck for all I care lol

So be it, I honestly have always liked the idea of the Saga closing out with EG anyway.

After meh WandaVision and horrible F&TWS I didn't bother with Loki. Was that another post-IS stinker as well?

Hey Wor-Gar, have you and your wife watched The Foreigner? A really well done "Taken" type movie starring Jackie Chan in a serious (ie non-comedic) role. Pierce Brosnan is the baddy so it may have crossover appeal with the missus.
I saw that film. I don't remember much about it tho. I remember liking it enough.

Loki was by far the best of the 3 lol

I don’t regret watching Loki but ultimately Spiderman 3 and DS2 will be sufficient enough to get the message across without having to watch Loki or the other MCU shows.

That being said it’s really harmless to sit and watch Loki because it’s part of your subscription and it doesn’t take up room on your shelf.

In the comics she's enhanced, but not in the films.

Weren't you the one who was whining for weeks on end about the ST killing off all the white male characters, especially white male characters from previous films? Way to stick to your guns on that one, lol.
1. Disney/LFL employs known racists and clearly have an agenda

2. I see no agenda with this movie.

3. White characters weren’t portrayed as all evil

4. Peacemaker lived

Completely different scenarios and outcomes.

That was the master plan. That was the great achievement. That's what should be remembered. That is why Feige should walk away a successful master. At best, Phase 5 can only emulate and therefore never be as innovative. It just can't be as good. And now actors see what happened and will be less inclined to get into their own 10 year contract deal.

It can never be recreated. It never will. But it will be tried for decades. Movies are universes now, and most universes suck so you see the dilemma. I mean, when Stephen King's books create a "universe" through slight connective tissue it all becomes a little silly. Like Shyamalan's Glass nonsense.

Those DC fools want Marvel to gone, so they can get back to the way things were. But I know the truth. There's no going back. The MCU changed things...forever. What would I do without the MCU? Go back to one and done films? No. No...no.:p
