The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the Flash will be in Suicide squad (probably a simple cameo)!
Who thinks we'll get a HT Flash with a second wave of SS figures?
If it happens I'm in, I really like the way he looked in the JL teaser.

I read a summary of Suicide Squad (because I'm dumb :slap), and I believe it said he appears in a flashback showing how Captain Boomerang was captured, along with how the other villains were.

If he has that small of a roll, I can't see Hot Toys making a Flash figure for SS unless he sports his Justice League costume so they can rerelease him.

Also, spoiler tags for this sort of thing would be appreciated. The movie isn't even out yet. :lol

I really don't see this happening. You'll have to wait for the first Justice League movie.

Reviews for this film are coming in and it's not looking great. I wonder if this doesn't turn out to be the hit that most of us are expecting if that will curtail HT's plans. We've got a quite a few Jokers, a Harley and a Deadshot, if this film doesn't do well I wonder if they'll stick to Harley and Joker who will sell and leave a few of the others out.

if the film doesn't do well the line is dead after this.

HT struggles to even complete successful movie line ups. this has no chance.

You need to look at more than 1 or 5 reviews.

There are 58 reviews gathered on RT so far, and we're sitting at 36% meter with 5.4/10 average rating.

Coming soon.net gave it a8.5/10 how is that not good, all the reviews I seen are good, it's them marvel haters gonna hate.

It's got a Rotten Tomatoes score of 37% from Critics and a Metacritic score of 48/100 so far. Now it might very well turn out that fans will love it despite what critics think (I fully believe that critics can't help but treat all DCEU properties by comparing them to the Marvel template) but if that doesn't equate to huge ticket sales, HT will most likely walk.

These critics Mostly don't know half these characters and Don't understand the history of these properties and judge what they just watch in a film. It's hard to get into something if you don't know what it's about really.

I'll agree with that but it's failure to nab common viewers who don't have a history of the characters doesn't bode well for overall box office dollars.

I definitely don't have high hopes for JL now that yet another hyped up DC film is being panned by critics. A lot of people say they don't care what critics say but I personally think the majority of them were right on point with their criticisms of MoS and BvS.

If the movie sucks I don't plan on getting any of them for the simple fact I want a full squad, and that doesn't stand a snow ball chance in hell if this doesn't bank

I'm just hoping that if the movie does end up being bad that Leto's Joker does good.

I'm in the minority that likes the look of this Joker.

If this movie itself isn't good but I feel the characters are done well then it's probably enough to justify a few figures. We will see how I feel come the weekend. Going to get Harley no matter what but may cancel the Deadshot I have on order if it's not what I want it to be.

Who can blame them? Comic fans will know the characters but aside from Harley and The Joker and possibly Deadshot I'd be pretty surprised if most people had prior knowledge of who the characters are. These aren't your A list characters but more like B and C list characters starring in a film. There seems to be a consistent issue in the DC films thus far that they rely too much on fanboyism. It's cool for the people they're targeting but I think it leaves a lot of casual viewers scratching their heads and its simply not a great way to make successful films. These big budget films are aimed at a broad audience but it doesn't help when a large chunk of the audience doesn't know what's going on.

I gave up caring for RT's scores and box office numbers a long time ago. I just want to like the movie for myself only. Dredd bombed at the box office but is easily in my top 10 favourite movie list.
