I had the same issue trying to find the right boots. I've ordered these, just waiting for them to arrive to see how they work. Then I'll be just about done with both of mine.

She does look cool in those, but for me it feels too repetitive if displaying Sarah and Cameron together. Plus that look seemed more for the promo shots than how she looked on the actual show.

The Sarah body does work well. I have mine on Alice bodies since they were cheaper and easier to get. The only problem is the ass on Alice is HUGE. Kinda distorts it IMO at the back, but if you look at her head on you can't really tell.

Yeah thats a good point. I might have a look through the show for different outfits she wore and see if its obtainable at 1/6th. However could be aways off for me. All I've got right now is a pair of undrilled, unpainted heads.

I agree, she was a High School sudent and wore different outfits. But she did like to wear tall boots and leather jackets. The problem I find with Hot Toys female bodys is foot wear. Most of the boots on eBay have foot pegs for Cy Girl and Triad bodies. Hard to find boots to fit HT.

I'm actually going the other way and doing a River from the movie.
I think the new head is a better likeness.

Here's the set up so far. Just prepped the head for real hair
and fit it to the HT Alice body.

The only other thing I might do is dremel down the jowels a bit.
I think the jawline is a little to square for River. I'll also be custom making the weapons out of
hardened steel to make sure they're screen accurate.


Now if I can only get Kato or Harue to make the green dress
I'll start a seperate thread for that...

Very true. I was running into the same issue. The boots I linked above were the closest I could find that would work.

And there is definitely a lack of female leather jackets out there. But as you said, she did a few different looks on the show, so there is some room for creative freedom.

I should have my boots in this week and can post some pics of how I envisioned her.

I'll be interested in seeing how it comes out. The dress for me is the hardest part. I know someone commissioned one from d-art, but it was more money than I wanted to spend myself.

I've finally finished up my Camerons, at least for now. I did the painting myself. I'm not that good, especially compared to some of the very talented people on here, but I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.

First is my "normal" Cameron. I didn't base her on any particular outfit, but more on the basic look she usually had in the series. I used some of the wardrobe staples, the high boots, the studded belt, the leather jacket, skin tight jeans.



I found this shirt and thought it was perfect. Sort of a subtle nod
