i'm a noob with the game as well. ic the fighting stick really make a difference. one of these days i'll have to pick one up for myself. do people notice a difference between the brands of fighting sticks?

Okay, so I found a store the sells arcade stick controllers but they only had the Tekken game bundle in stock. I'm wondering if that's suitable for SS4. The dork who was manning the register said it works with the game but I doubt it. The Tekken controller doesn't have the turbo button( I think!).....Anyway, any help, advice OR insults directed towards my retardation regarding game controllers will suffice! ktnxbye....

Finally got SSF4 from amazon. when do we get the preorder code for the alt costumes?

And it's sad to see how rusty I've become for not playing SF4 for 5 months or more.

Man, onlinesucks kind of.
Guys that are presented as "same skill" beat on you like sh** and you can do nothing.
Maybe there´s a reason why someone´s still rank d, or so.
Kinda unfair to get beat up like that.
That´s a shame...

To be honest, the game is still farily new. Im assuming that a lot of the skilled players from the first game are still 'ranking' up so you're bound to run into a lot of people with skills.

But what I mean is simply that those guys loose it about watching for other guys who aren´t that skilled.
For the fair play factor, you know?

The stick will work. It's really only a "Tekken" stick because it was released alongside the game and has the Tekken character graphics on the faceplate.

All arcade sticks basically function the same. The quality and feel just vary depending on the manufacturer and parts used, and some sticks may lack/offer certain features (like turbo, which I don't think you really need).

As long as the stick has 6 buttons, you're fine.

Yo mean over voice chat? I agree that's really annoying, which is why I have a feeling I'm never gonna play endless battle with random people. The unnecessary trash talk is a pet peeve of mine.

I got my code 24 hours later through an email. I assumed you pre-orded it then. That is the only way to get the code.
