Why in God's (Zod's?) name did I just buy another General Zod? I sold the first one I bought a month ago!

I guess I'm in for that goofy looking Luthor they've got coming out this spring...

The head sculpt is pathetic. I don't think a repaint can save it.

How can you possibly think its pathetic?

For the price the figure is up for I think the headsculpt is pretty good.

The paintjob needs work though.

Can't decide to order or not. I already have the barbie superman, and the Superman Returns is too expensive. I am more of a Marvel Fan and with Iron Man Mark IV coming soon, and I may pick up the tech Mecth Tony stark. I JUST DON"T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!

What do you guys think? Is it worth the order? If I change my mind later would I probably be able to get the $60 bucks back on selling him off?

When would he be shipping?

I'd say it's worth it if you like what you see. If you don't (or if you're looking to flip for any kind of profit), you'll probably be disappointed.

If I change my mind later would I probably be able to get the $60 bucks back on selling him off?

Getting the $60 back is likely, but you might have to hold on to it for awhile until Matty sells out first.

When would he be shipping?

Pretty much immediately. Give it a couple of days, though.

I can see this Zod going way up in price if Hot Toys doesn't release a figure of him. And that isn't a foregone conclusion.

The original release Zod did generate some interest on the secondary market a few months ago, but for whatever reason (probably the news of it's re-release) that didn't last long. Ether way, you're probably right. Both Matty's Zod and HT's Jor-El will likely see a bump once HT's Reeve Superman finally shows up.

And dragonsleeper? Don't worry too much about it. The so-called "White Screen of Death" is par for the course on Matty Day. There's a better-than-average chance that they'll still be available later this afternoon/tomorrow.

I'd keep trying, though...ya never know...

Cool. Thanks for the info. I like it. for the price its not bad. I don't care about a profit, mainly getting the $60 back. I think I am just going to hold off. I hope I don't regret it. I really need a superman representation on my shelf, the barbie one is not gonna hold me over that much longer.

That's what i'm afraid off, getting this one and not being able to get the $60 back because of the hot toys version. I am lucky I was able to get back at least $50 from the DC Direct Dark Knight Batman when I was trying to get the Hot Toys version. I am gonna sleep on it and if I decide to get him hopefully he'll still be there.

I was looking for a loose Superman Returns Barbie to try making a custom with a true type body and noticed a seller already has this one for $149 and listed as a Movie Masterpiece Edition.

Meh, it's basically a night out. Buy this as a placeholder and give it to your son/nephew when HT releases theirs. Or keep it and give it a repaint and body swap if HT winds up pulling a "Wolverine."

I just bought the mark 4 from Bmunch for 130. I'm getting 2 waves coming from DCUC each at 100 +, That's not counting what I have spent in November. I watch my budget carefully and that is completely blown. On top of that I am making my custom Superman (picture below) and getting HT Superman.
With all that, I still ordered this piece and zod, followed by Luthor.

For 60 - I get a pretty good costume, hoping it fits my custom piece and copy the pattern to update my custom's costume. The stand looks pretty cool and good for flying poses. The same goes for Zod. I'd like to get my hands on his costume and see if I can use the pattern off that and make my own Kryptonians set. Plus, I am really curious to see this on hand. I did, however buy only one of each, instead of getting two Supes.

Ordered my Superman and Darkseid 2 pk for my JLU collection. It took about 12 mins. Picked up Zod the 1st time around.
