Superman vs Hulk

So now it's basically boils down to that Superman can beats Hulk but he wouldn't because he's too much of a nice guy and like a fair fight too much? I've stated the same thing before but I do think if this was a last man standing no holds barred fight Superman who come out on top. He just has too much on his plate to work with.

Nope, I haven't been on Team Hulk this this whole time. Just because I'm more of a Marvel fan doesn't mean I don't know who would win in a fight and people can retcon the characters all they want but it's still Superman fighting Hulk. Hulk is just out classed just like Batman would be if he fought Cap.

As I'm sure you know, the strongest fighter does not always win.

You overlook one of Marvels strongest characters far too easily. What you are saying is Hulk will be defeated by Superman AND Darkseid despite be able to go toe to toe with extremely power characters such as Thor. Don't forget Thor is a god himself, who would lay an extreme beating on Superman not only with physical power, but with magic at his side.

You honestly believe those zig-zag omega beams will destroy him? How many times has Superman been hit by that mess and he's still around?

Yeah, that because he's Superman. There are only two characters, other then the New Gods, to survive being hit by the Omega Beams, Superman and Doomsday.

Superman will never throw him in Space. Thats basically a cop out and a way to "run away" from the fight. It will also make Superman look quite weak and as if he doesn't have the power to take him head on in a fists vs. fists battle, so he has to try and throw him off the planet to be victorious. What a lame and anti-climatic whimpy ending, which proabably isn't an ending at all.

Superman fights with honor, and throwing people off planets and into the sun is absolutely ridiculous for him to start doing.

The chances of Hulk attempting to Kill Superman are far higher than Superman trying to kill him. Supermans value for life will be his ultimate weakness once Hulk says "screw it all" and lets his anger completely take over.

If it came down to killing it would go down that same way as the first Doomsday battle. Superman would do whatever he had to do protect the people, except Superman has learned from his mistakes with Doomsday. It wouldn't come down to killing anyway with Hulk. The end of World War Hulk proves this.

Well said and just to add: superman can not hold hulk for long when trying to take him into the air. Hulk can acclimate himself in space now and he is able to breath without suffocation. Doomsday did not create earthquakes with each step and literally shake the entire world by walking. Doomsday is nothing compared to hulk and superman had to give everything he had and more to defeat him. Hulk would of destroyed the world just with his energy! There is NO WAY superman could of stopped hulk... anybody is crazy to think he could. Hulk beat sentry "the man with the power of a 1,000,000 suns" and hulk was only getting stronger. Superman has a hard time with matallo. Thor can beat superman with ease... Hulk and thor go toe to toe countless times with hulk winning more often.

Yes I am aware of how strong Hulk is, I don't think that's the issue here. What I saying is Hulk is not invulnerable (neither is Superman), you say Superman couldn't hold the Hulk for long but with his super speed how long would he need to? Superman has a hard time with Metallo cause he is powered kryptonite and against Thor because Thor has magic. Once again, Those who are going with the Hulk are not using the Most Powerful version of Superman as the one who would be battling the most powerful Hulk. Silver Age Superman has no equal, Never has and never will.

Please stop using The Byrne, Modern, or any other version but The Silver Age Superman.

Hulk came back for revenge against everyone (though it was the illuminatis fault) for being sent into space like an animal. His new planet, Sakaar, was destroyed along with his new family.

He had PLENTY of fuel and motivation to beat the livng hell out of anything that moved. Superman doesn't have any reason like that. His planet was blown up when he was a little baby.

What kind of extreme emotional connection could he have to krypton without having to be reminded of what happened there, or see the disaster through "visions"?

Once again, If Hulk can beat someone like Thor BEFORE his more recent WWH form and The Sentry afterwards, how on earth can anyone think he can't beat Superman? Perhaps people think Thor and The Sentry are characters with Batman/Nightwing level strength?

Umm, if i recall, the whole Death and Return of Superman storyline was completely ridiculous just like the clone saga from Spiderman.

Hulk is simply more willing to take a life, or kill someone before Superman ever would. When was the last time Superman punched someone so hard they exploded into tiny chunks of meat? Just ask Deadpool how that feels.

Hulk beat Sentry by them both turning back to human form then Banner knocked him out, Superman doesn't do that so the fight wouldn't have the same ending. Is there another time they fought that had a different outcome that I don't know about?
