Sad to see the best player in Survivor history sent home by a dwarf who should have been voted out in the first tribal council.
 
I think it's a smart move by rest of his tribe to get rid of Rob. He's a shoe in for the million if he makes it. No one will give it to Russell, so better to go against him if you make it that far.

Everyone thought that about him for the first All-Stars he was on. Didn't turn out that way though.. he lost to Amber. :lol

If by best you mean best at getting to the final 3 and not even receiving one vote for the money... then yeah Russell is the best. Russell is too full of himself to understand how to actually WIN this game.

If you think about, there's a lot of dead weight on the Villain's team now. Heroes are a better physical team now.
 
Last nights ep made me mad...wanted Russell gone. He's fun to watch but way to full of himself and Rob is soo much better a player (and mature as a person) than he was in past seasons, I was really starting to root for him.....turning point was the Amazing Race season he and his wife did a few years back

Coach is a wimp for his vote, and Jeri is a moron. Villians tribe will implode from the look of next weeks ep
 
Wow....Boston Rob got worked. Russell simply planted the seeds and let everyone else do the work. Rob drew a line in the sand and dared Russell to cross it and lost. I'm a little disappointed that Rob is gone because I enjoyed them going head to head but I have a feeling that with the other Alpha male gone that Russell will try to move back into the background and puppet master instead of being so aggressive like he has been. I'm predicting that Sandra is the next villain to go, Coach is gullible and Jeri is just interested in saving her ass so the only one that will give any kind of guff with be her.

On the heroes side I have a feeling that Rupert will get his strings cut next out of the group he is the weakest link

The winner of the show DOES NOT always = the best player. Sorry.. it just doesn't. Natalie was not the best player in Survivor Samoa. Period. She won.. yes. But anyone who watched that season could see she was worthless. That's what sucks about the show.. doesn't matter how good you play, in the end it comes down to a bunch of losers voting with emotions and hate instead of logic.
 
Russell lost because he pissed everyone off. Which in my opinion means he didn't play the game correctly. I guess I am just getting sick of him. Rob was 100x funner to watch and Russell's attitude is getting boring and old.

:lol:lol:lol Ok. IMO the jury was comprised of sore losers who couldn't admit Russell owned them.. so they got revenge the only way they could: by voting against him. In other words.. the jury didn't vote correctly. :D

Which means he didn't play the game correctly. You are not supposed to piss off the people who vote to give you the money. The goal is to WIN not to be the best gameplayer.

There are ways to malipulate and backstab and be a great gameplayer without the "God Like" attitude Russel used. Thats why others who have done it have won and he didn't.

Where in the survivor rule book does it say "thou shall not piss anyone off if wanting to win $1,000,000?"

The very nature of the game is intended to pit survivor against survivor and piss the contestants off and outplay each other (i.e. lie, cheat, steal) in order to make it to the end.

In survivor, nice guys finish last, with few exceptions. Sure, when down to the last 2-3 people, then it may help, but if you try to be honest and not lie to anyone or not upset anyone, youre not going to make it to tope 10, let alone top 3.

Yeah but can you honestly say she played better and is a better player than Russell!? Same with Rob.. he's never won. He got 10th place in his original season, made it to the finals for his first All-Stars and now he got 13th for this All-Star season. Russell has played two seasons. He made it to the finals in his original season and (if you believe the rumors) he gets to the finals this season of All-Stars. Regardless if you like him or not.. regardless if he ever wins the million.. Russell is the best player in Survivor history.

Well her gameplay wasn't better thats for sure and Russell is a great player but if I had to pick between her "bad" gameplay and million dollars and Russells "great" gameplay and nothing I'll take the bad play and the money (which is the entire reason for playing the game.)

Like I said before I guess I am just getting sick of Russell. If there were a few seasons between his games it may be different but his act can only be fun for so long.

Yeah.. if YOU are playing the game. But since you're not, and I'm not, and we're not, the money is irrelevant when deciding who's a better player. It's like a discussion on actors: Will Smith makes more money per film than Robert Deniro but I doubt you'll find a single person willing to say with a straight face that Smith is a better actor. But using your example.. hell yeah I'd rather be a so-so actor with a huge payday than a respected and admired actor with a so-so paycheck.
